My Downfall is unquestionably one of the most powerful songs ever written in all of music. The dark imagery Biggie conveyed throughout the song was amazing. This is Hip Hop. This is poetry. This is art. Should be the de-facto song about jealousy but everyone should listen to it so they understand how powerful jealousy is and what it can make a person do. Not just rappers or other famous people but regular people experiencing some sort of success or advancement in their lives that also have to deal with envious people (often in their own circle) trying to sabotage them. Big-ups to the 👑 for blessing us with this timeless masterpiece.

After almost 3 decades we still have not seen anyone come remotely close to the level of wordplay, poetry, cadence, wit, drama, storytelling, that biggie so effortlessly showcased. This is a once in very 1000 years kind of human. The only person I can think of in the same realm is Bob Marley. Christopher Wallace was a rare talent. We’ll always love you Poppa. Thanks for the memories and sorry “the actor “ lied on you and eventually got you killed. You didn’t deserve that. You bothered no one. He had a death wish, you didn’t. His rhymes were mediocre, yours weren’t. He run his mouth, you kept a low profile. I know you are reading this Biggie. One love!
