Yes I agree this song is underated & very powerful two legends we where cheated when Biggie left us way to early he was very good & Puff another talented artist what he's going through ain't gonna break him but make him more powerful in so many ways mainly spiritualy ain't no man better than the other we ALL falter at one point or another we ALL go through trials & tribulations battleling sin I hope people don't forget the many people this man helped & the many people he lift their spirit at the end of the day it's obvious he believes in JESUS & he's gonna be alright GOD from my understanding is in his corner.... come as you are because GOD knows what every human goes through so pray for one another ....I struggle I'm a sinner & even though it's dark at the end of the tunnel there's light & hope GOD is Good don't worry about nothing yes this rap song by these two legends has many meanings puts me in thought of the many things that happen to everyday people .....

They said this prayer at my grandmas funeral and all I could think of was this song. And as soon as they said dwell in house of lord forever the music just started playing in my head.

This song was bigs swan song he knew had a bag on his head 💰 And the green light was lit 🔥 Give him all the respect in the world 🌎 he still went out to California despite what had happened 6 months earlier. Big was about that life, part of the reason why he will always be the king of New York 👑

The last verse, the bar when he says “just a memory…!!” That really weighs heavy. As I think about loved ones that has transitioned. That verse (although all not gone by bullets), it hits hard… just a memory! Life!

man this album was dark its like he knew some of the songs are chilling to hear but being realistic his life was filled with all of confusion if he survived it would just be a story to hear through the tracks and wonder
@mrdreloaded40492 жыл бұрын
Every piece of this great track gives the feeling of impending finality! Whenever I hear that quote from the bible at the beginning of the song at a funeral, (if I wasn't crying already), I'll just all of a sudden burst into tears - it could be someone I really didn't care for, I would still cry because of that quote.... It makes the song even sadder considering what actually happened to BIG after this.....

In retrospect, it's pretty wicked how so many of his songs are about death or the anticipation of it. Understandable considering how the rap scene can be. Biggie's words ring true for many, not just singers.
