Multisyllablatic patterns and being deft at similies are TWO aspects of lyricism. Lyricism at its core is being able to paint pictures and get your point across in a way that is enjoyable and interesting. Biggie is one of the most ELITE rhymers in that way of understanding lyricism. Pun was not more technical because there's points in songs where he goes slightly off beat in order to pack in his rhyme. You can't show me a point in a song where Biggie wasn't butter smooth on the ears let alone off beat. That's TECHNIQUE. Plus, lyricism involves content and I'm sorry, this versus proved Biggie >>> Pun in that regard because Beezy was putting up deeep album cuts like somebody's gotta die, what's beef, everyday struggle and niggaz bleed against Puns most known songs. Both Biggie and Pun are legends and elite mc's but you lot are too infatuated with listening to people squeeze 100 syllables into a bar and warping definitions to try and make arguments not actually taking into account of what those terms mean in regards to the history of the genre. LYRICISM and TECHNIQUE aren't one dimensional terms 💯

Big bun is a great lyricist but the only thing he does is multi-syllable rhyming and wordplay. Biggie can do more than pun lyrically he can do multi-syllable rhyming, wordplay, double entendres, metaphors, schemes, homonyms, punchlines and poetry. Biggie is winning this it should of been Big L vs Big Pun. Pun Vs BIG almost not fair. Yes pun is lyrically a beast but it’s not about who’s the most lyrical it’s about who has the better catalogue and am sorry Biggies 2 albums kinda shit on Big Puns even tho capital punishment is a classic. As far as 2Pac Vs Snoop that’s actually a great battle and SNOOP CAN WIN!... am the biggest Tupac fan he’s obviously more diverse then Snoop but Snoop can just play Doggystyle and the chronic and he can win... doggystyle and the chronic is arguably better then all of PACs albums. I don’t agree with that but a lot of people will say that. Doggystyle is my 4th favourite rap album ever and All Eyez On Me/Makaveli is my second.
