I am a board certified MD and indeed, I learned about nutrition's healing effects AFTER my graduation in order to improve my health. Listen to this man. He is a MD with a passion. Passion leads to TRUTH. I learned by my own research what was best for me: My food window is 10 AM to 4 PM. Fast window is 17-18 hrs. You might be different. Just listen with an open mind because there are REAL forces of misinformation for financial reasons. Just think for yourself people. This man has no financial interest to have you eat walnuts, beans, whole grains etc.. He is not a farmer. Some of us went into this profession in order to HELP people. I know that the same misinformation is directing you away from some real MD's who love people. Much love to you all. 😘

The two doctors you mention are pro carnivore diet and that is OK with this video. There is no conflict. In order to decrease the acidity in the body from the meat, we need to eat these foods in addition to meat. No conflict here. @@jonm3388

My 3 older sibs all drink alcohol and eat the SAD and they have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I just mind my own biz and carry on eating my fruits. veg, nuts, legumes and grains, exercise, get good sleep and enjoy my life. He is such an inspiration.

Sadly, Western Medicine is in the claws of mighty food lobbies and drug companies. This message has to get out ASAP to as many people as possible. I am dedicating my life to the same message.

Wow! I have been watching this interview over the last two days, and I am so fond of both of these superstars! Dr. Gregor‘s brain is so off the charts. Amazing!! I’ve got his book “how not to age” and thought it would be like reading a medical encyclopedia, but surprisingly and wonderfully he speaks in such clear, plain language, so you can understand everything, and I am just in love with his sense of humor and his excitement and passion, which is so clearly evident in this video as well! Lewis, you are a rockstar in this world on KZbin and we thank you for your incredible talent as an interviewer and how you draw your guests out. I continually think to myself asi listen to your interviews how fantastic your questions are!! Two rockstars here!!!!❤❤❤❤. Love both of these guys!! And Dr. Gregor’s excitement is so awesome- you can see it in how fast he talks!! 😂and then to watch Lewis’s awestruck responses. Just an awesome interview.🙌👊

I really enjoyed listening to Dr Greger. My mum and dad taught us to cook our own food and to have vegetables. The trouble is junk food is convenient to buy especially for people who can't cook or can't be bothered. Some people don't know how to cook because they haven't been taught. I know at times for me I would be too tired to cook because I had a hard day at work. But having learned that I had high blood pressure in my 50's I had to learn I had to change my diet otherwise it would be pills for the rest of my life which I didn't want to happen. The thing is I have always exercised but it was my diet that caused a problem for me. Now I am onwards and upwards towards a healthier lifestyle.

Lewis does an excellent job here. Dr. Michael Greger is a personal hero of mine but most big podcasts that have him on don't make good use of his time and wisdom. Lewis deserves credit for balancing the tension between wanting to appeal to laymen while also extracting value that is uniquely available from an expert like Dr. Greger. At a time when carnivore diet influencers are all the rage, it's good to have actual science presented.

Wow! What a great interview. I’m a fan and I always learn or reassure my path of healthy life style. As a fact, I was born with mitral valve prolapse. At age 23 it started with few symptoms. My cardiologist said to follow up every two years. Ten years ago I started as vegan and by learning from different sources I started a whole food plant based diet. Although I’m not perfect with execution, it was shocking to learn that I don’t have a prolapse anymore. Same with glasses. I used long distance glasses since kindergarten and 6 months after starting my vegan journey, I stopped needing them. Still, I’m 58 years old and I don’t need long distance glasses. Many other significant changes been happening. I haven’t developed any conditions. I don’t use or need any prescription medication. I’m very active and energetic. I’ll share the information with anyone that asks but I don’t take responsibility for their choices. The evidence is overwhelming and I’m really grateful for that first biochemistry class from Dr. Gregger that KZbin suggested. I was fascinated by his information, education style and humor. That’s all it took, a fan and follower was born.
