Hokey shit!!! I found this song finally. My dad had this record when I was just a kid. . Me and my brother and sister have been trying to find the name of the song and who sang it for years now. The search is finally over. I’ll have to post this on my sisters Facebook page, RIP Sis.

I first found this track reviewed in an old original back issues of the TVTimes from 1960 via DVD-ROM format, and I also got it on the Come On Let's Go double CD of the Pye International Story 1959-61 just a mere 5 years ago. I had no idea of this or any of the other tracks of the double CD either, and I.don't think it was ever played on UK radio too frequently within the last 50 years.

SiriusXM (50s On 5)! Thought I heard ‘em all, but not quite. I don’t recall on KRLA-AM (Pasadena, CA) or other terrestrial radio stations playing this rare gem. Maybe the did, but not aware. Probably KFXM (98.3) Lancaster, CA another possibility. Thank you, SiriusXM 50s On 5 and Jukebox Saturday Night!

After hearing this on the Come On Let's Go: The Pye International Story 1958-1961 double CD that I bought last year, I now today bought a copy of this very record for £5. In original Pye International sleeve and condition is not bad at all. (It's rather shiny!)

This duo later appeared on a Columbia US LP titled "Bird Watching" - It's interesting to note that the original US issue was released on Hanover Records US, a Steve Allen (yes, THAT Steve Allen)-owned company (along with the Signature US Record label at that time).

Just thinking the same thing. It would be an awesome jam instrumental without the shitty "squirrels".
@iob1shrine1698 жыл бұрын
I agree, would be, could be, fat. However there is something about the insanity sound of the shitty squirrels that doesn't totally vex me. It could be a wild drop interrupting some hardcore. or mixed into a good breakbeat set. but the point you are making is still valid.
