Really well explained. I use this a bit higher with top hand fitting the forehead backwards, opening the trachea for the lower arm.

❤ love how much great material is on your channel. Keep it up the good works. Haven’t managed to get your book/s yet. But I intend to. Just not in a great place at the moment, depressed and little interest in studying and reading. Or much else really. In a slump. The 30 days of violence is great, exercises, techniques and combinations alike. I keep finding more of your videos, Some i might have watched a while ago and stumble on again having a different phone. And some I have not seen before. All great stuff dude. I like how vast an array of techniques can be found in this Bartitsu lab of yours, and how well one video can tie in with another video you’ve done. Hat off to you sir. I just wanted to remind you that you are great and down to earth, and it works. Not convoluted complicated shrouded in mystery and only available to some. Literally, sound solid advice that works for those who have ears to listen. What I mean to say is massive respect 👊 stay dangerous and thanks 🙏 maybe one day if I ever get my life back together sorting out my own Bartitsu lab arrangement for the benefit of others is something I would like to do.

hey i hope things are getting better for you now!.. i hope this channel does not mind me saying but the "Potential Techniques"' channel is a channel that is a Quest to find ways to make things better faster in tough times.. be kind to yourself, and even small steps towards getting even small things more how we would like them to be helps a lot through time.. Keep on trying! i hope something really good happens for you and for anyone who is feeling down Best wishes from Rolland in Scotland
Looks like crossarm guard for boxing, have you used it in the streets?
@stefanobio7045Ай бұрын
I have used it...... It's good for a very short time, you can fire our both axe hand and hammer fist blows very easily from this guard position.

Tommy have you ever read 36 knockout blows without the use of fists. Mainly edge of hand from the crossed arms position written by an ex-policeman.

Are you privy to some of the lousy vietnam era combatives manuals and if so could you rate them,I've read that some of these books are similar to what pat o'neill taught.

@Kalina Malina have you ever read any vietnam era combatives books fm 21-150, 1969 or 71?
@brucegrit89283 жыл бұрын
@Kalina Malina I've seen the x block especially with traditional martial Arts, the best defense is running away if that's not possible use improvised weapons or low kicks.Want to see something even more ridiculous? Watch the film "DRILL INSTRUCTOR"1971 found here on KZbin and goggle "DEAL THE FIRST DEADLY BLOW" pdf.
@robertlehnert41482 жыл бұрын
"Deal the First Deadly Blow" suffered from bad quality still.photographs with models being told "yeah, that's good enough for the manual" but the unarmed material is almost pure O'Neil. It's good stuff, but there's little or no text explaining how it could be used in a flowing manner (John Styers' 1952 _Cold Steel_ DOES manage to get, in a few well written paragraphs, how launch a barrage of techniques).
@brucegrit89282 жыл бұрын
It's said these men were actual street fighters,it's hard to believe the techniques in that book were actually used in combat especially that stupid flat footed stance.look at the film drill instructor 1971 on KZbin also look at bill wolfe in hand to hand combat ww2 training.
