I don't care about a celebrities being relatable. I think it's better when they are not or have a sense of mystery about them. I don't need to know about their personal lives. Their job, whether, they are a singer, dance, actor etc is to entertain. Simply that.

Omg that man breaking into Rihanna's home wanting to have xes with her is terrifying! I remember hearing about what took place with Sandra Bullock and then the man later of f/n himself after them trying to serve an arrest warrant, I know that took a major toll on her. I definitely understand why celebrities are closed off not just for safety but for their sanity as well

I think a lot of them are very lonely and honestly I’ve been saying for a long time, there should be mental health screenings and questionaires before people are able to be online. It’s so true that celebrity women have more pressure placed on them for “relatability” people just feel so entitled to women

I thought people would learn about having healthy boundaries with celebrities they admired after the deaths of Rebecca Schaeffer, John Lennon, Selena Quintanilla, and Dimebag Darrell. I know Christina Grimmie is another one as she's a recent example of fan obssession gone too far, but those four died before the advent of social media. I feel social media along with the 2000s gossip columns amplified the unhealthy obsessions. Why do you think a lot of celebrities refuse autographs or interact with fans? Sadly, being a public figure is a dangerous field.

Girl YES. I just became a Beyoncé stan months ago and I’m just in awe of her and her talent. But I’ve never once desired to relate to her…. Even though she’s given plenty of material over the years to do that. The ONLY things I want from her is for her to continue being safe, happy, and to be around for the rest of my life bc I can’t fathom her leaving us 😭. I just want her to keep blessing us with her artistry and performances and her voice. That’s all. She’s Black excellence and carries herself so well and is SO respectable. So I want her to continue to thrive.
