But that doesn't mean the Grizzlies can't make the Timberwolves blink if they meet up in the playoffs. Personally, I don't expect anything more from Zion Williamson anymore. I thought for sure that with Ja being suspended for 25 games last season, that Zion would really take advantage of that opportunity especially with the arrival of Victor Wembamyama. But since Zion got hurt again when they needed him most, I don't really see how anyone could really expect him to be a convincing face of a franchise. Let's face it, Victor Wembamyama is going to have the spotlight for the next few years assuming no injuries. And I think Zion can turn this around in his favor, but it's just going to take something very special from himself and the Pelicans.

Poole's problem is he got a big head, and refused to play basketball unless he was in the starting lineup. It's that "I'm him" attitude that led to the conflict with Dray. Warriors would have traded him with or without the knockout, because his attitude became toxic and he was playing for himself, not for his team. It's a shame, because humility would have earned him the keys to the kingdom, while hubris earned him a ticket out of town.
