This episode taught me a valuable lesson: Don't ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone for any reason ever, no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you are with, or where you are going, or where you've been... ever, for any reason whatsoever...

God damn it, why did I think for a second that this was actually going to be a sincere, insightful comment... Lol

My theory for why the branch does well under Michael is that somehow his foolishness pushes them to work harder. When he wastes their time with some silly side thing, they feel they have to do something to get things back on track. And also the more focused on their work they are, the less Michael bothers them. They’re making sales calls more to avoid Michael when he comes around. That’s my reasoning anyway.

The where Dwight exchange is hilarious

What makes what Angela did worse is that the show had been pushing Dwight and Angela as meant to be, only for Dwight to find out that Angela had been lying to him too.

I did not realize how many of my favorite moments were from this ep. (For any reason monologue, "where, dwight?", michael leaving to avoid conflict, etc.)😂

I love how Wallace really is ready for something profound from Michael as that run on sentence continues.

One word comes to mind when I see Angela's relationships crumble: schadenfraude For one reason alone: she's such a goddamn, snooty, judging hypocrite.

Didn't she mock Pam for her relationships starting in the office?

She sure did lmao.

Wow Dwight has a lot of hidden weapons in that place. Although I honestly expected more. Also Angela ain't worth a beating.

I personally believe there are a lot more Jim never found. The ones shown are just the ones Dwight could afford to lose so he put them in easy to reach/discover spots

Not to overanalyze this, but I feel people give Dwight too much of a pass on this shit. Horrible thing to do to be sleeping with a girl who you know is engaged.
@positivelynegative91496 ай бұрын
Sadly, that reflects what people do in real life. I think they just don't want to be bothered with it, so they can carry on with their own awful ways.

It is bad. It is not cool. But so many people blame "the other guy/girl" for being a "homewrecker" and barely blame the person in the fucking relationship. To me that is the way more common tendency, so comparatively I'm not gonna get as upset about the other guy. I think everyone has their own perception of which of those behaviors doesn't get enough blame by the rest of society. They're both bad. (Objectively the cheater is far more to blame than the homewrecker, but that does conflict with the need for forgiveness to save a relationship. So that naturally leads to transferring the blame and anger to the homewrecker rather than the cheater.)

Also, this is a TV show, and the show isn't too shy about Dwight and Angela belonging together and Andy being delusional about it. So it's natural to side with Dwight, who is pursuing True Love, rather than Angela or Andy's denial of it. Anyway, horribly killing a cat was way worse. We give him a pass because it's a sitcom character taking sitcom actions.
@spinoking91686 ай бұрын
@@jerodast yeah, blaming the other person is definitely silly when the person who was cheating is definitely the most reasonable. But you’re still an awful human being if you’re messing with someone who you know is in a committed relationship. Dwight even took in pleasure in knowing he was banging Angela behind Andy’s back. It’s an awful thing to do with someone. It’s different if the person isn’t aware rthey’re in a relationship. But Dwight was fully aware and whike Angela is most at fault, Dwight is also an awful person for doing that to Andy.

The news that Scranton is inexplicably beating all the other branches is really the tipping point for the Office's "workplace realism".

Loving watching this. It would be cool if you watched the first episode of the UK version before season 7 just because of a brilliant moment in seven. Thus far what's your favorite season?

Jimmy macram im with you on this being one of my favorite all time episodes of the series. Nothing is more cringe but enjoyable than everyone hiding a secret from 1 person and waiting for it to come to a head. I also Side with Michael on him leaving the office to deal with the fallout of telling Andy about the affair. He did what no one else in the entire office was willing to do and it was tell Andy the Truth regarding Angela's affair. Jim and pam might seem nice and friendly but this situation shows that they weren't so good as they think they are. They held onto a major secret that cost Andy his time/money/ and romantic feelings and they really dont seem to care. Jim also needs to maybe take a minute to decide when he wants to get involved in things,because he wasnt willing to tell Andy about Dwight/Angela's affair that had been happening for months but wanted to get involved when the 2 men at work need to resolve a major issue that doesnt involve him and he tries to interrupt when the situation played itself out as we all saw.

Neutering a person's capability for violence isn't a virtue. Sure, there was no NEED for violence towards one another when Angela was the one playing them both, but they both willingly agreed to hash it out however they wanted in a neutral place. Countries and civilizations have been built through war since Adam and Eve had children. Humans have a natural capacity and drive for competition and violence. Let us humans express ourselves in entirety. Also, do you think sports aren't violent? Football? Hockey? UFC/MMA? There's even a league for medieval armored combat as of today. You are showing a soapbox version of deluded pacifism. You would 100% be violent towards someone who took a loved one's life or who burned your house down.

It's adult. It's just caveman adult. Everyone can decide for themselves the ratio of caveman to enlightened spiritbeing they want to embody. Legally Andy did assault Dwight, but I doubt anyone at the courthouse is gonna get really charged up about it given the circumstances.
