I think that parks and rec starts out not as funny as the office then gets really funny the further you go into the series. I would say it gets funnier than the office around season 2 or 3. The office also gradually declines in quality after Michael leaves.

Andrew Walker this scene doesn’t look that good in the way that the channel displayed it, but if you watch the whole episode it really is heartwarming and a lot to explain in a youtube comment. The Office is literally the best show in television in history. Everything about it revolutionized the sitcom, with layered characters, but at its core it’s a romantic story disguised as a comedy. There’s so many touching moments... I could go on and on. It’s genius.
