If you stop, you get points deducted. So anyone reading this, DON'T STOP while you're doing this maneuver. Go slowly and ride the brakes but don't stop.
@markadams68899 жыл бұрын
You only get two points for stoping. That's a total of 6 points. Your aloud to miss 26. This video was meant to get someone started. As they practice and get comfortable with knowing which way to turn they will be able to complete without stopping. If they never get to that point they can still complete the test as shown on video and still pass. Too many students can't shake there nerves while taking this test and this way is a fail safe so they can take their time, relax, and think.
@37emily378 жыл бұрын
+Mark Adams You're only allowed to miss 25 points. 26 and you fail.

Mark Adams you should make it clear in the video that stopping is only for practice.

You should absolutely stop when doing this test. Especially if you want to assess the gaps and pivot points correctly.

Reminds me of doing a reverse parallel park kerb side. Im from Australia and will be visiting for a wedding/ holiday in Canton OH. I hold a full new zealand drivers license unrestricted c class manual licence @4.5 tonnes gvm and a full Western Australian drivers license also unrestricted c class manual licence also @ 4.5 tonnes gvm. And upgrading to a HR Heavy Ridgid licence falls under the CDL category. I like to be pretty independent wherever I go and hire my own vehicle and so I thought id have a look at the BMV and few online youtube vids on basic rules signage etc. Most are the same that we use in Australia and NewZealand only some of the picture signs look a little difficult but commonsense tells otherwise.
