Great comparison videos. 👏 For me, I like the older model. More personality for sure and retains the military field style look better. But of course, totally subjective. You will be hard pressed to find a value like this anywhere, especially for an automatic. Seiko keeps delivering. Notable contenders are citizens eco drive field models, although not automatic. Then you have the Hamilton khakis at triple the price. Agree with the stainless bracelet, however, it's quite comfortable. One simply cannot expect a solid Rolex-like bracelet on a $200 piece. Please let me know if you do. However these watches are strap monsters. Have a ton of fun with the 100s of different straps out there

I have the SRPG27K1 and SNK381K1 MACV-SOG reissue. Thr SNK381K1 has amazing lumed numerals. I have 7.5 wrist and the smaller 37mm SNK381K1 is much more comfortable and thinner case. I wear the original bracelets on both watches. I'll have the 7S26 swapped to a NH36 later on and a single domed sapphire crystal.

I like the srpg more because of the looks and hacking is also a big thing for me and handwinding is also fun to have. Its sad that the arabics arent lumed and maybe safire instead of domed hardlex and it wouldve been perfect

It could have been better if u are using Srpg37k1with the same black dial with black nato strap ,too for apple to apple comparison. As for me the dial for snzg15 ( there is also international k1 set for this) looks cluttered with too many wordings! I will go for latest one srpg as I already owned snk381k1 (macv sog vietnam war reissue)....

Now compare to the citizen Aw5000-25E. Looks almost identical only its eco Drive.

For example, the SPRG27K1 will have the case finishing like the SRPG shown here (but with a black dial). But the SRPG37K1 will come with this satin finishing like the SNZG shown here.

Interesting video, but it's not really comparing SRPG and SNZG like the video title says. Why? Because they both come in bead-blasted versions, and you can get cased in Japan versions for both, too. You can also get both on canvas straps!

Well its exactly what the video title states. Why would we want to see two identical nylon straps? Or two identical finishes. These are the same brand and line. If they were different brands then your point makes sense. Hes showing more insight into variations and highlighted the actual differences the new watch brings. Not showing us identical parts was a smart desicion and avoids redundancy.

SNZG, for me. I'm into field watches and dream of buying a project SNZG to replace the movement to the NH-36 and the Hardlex with DD Sapphire from Crystaltimes.

sngz all day / the srpg has to much polish and that case thickness and the hardlex glass sitting up much to high / movement upgrade would be nicer in the sngz but can live with the seiko shuffle
