I actually grew up in a house in Portland, Oregon, that was built by Walt Disney's uncle in 1910. Walt Disney lived there for a year or two in the early 1920s. We found stick drawings of Mickey Mouse drawn on the eaves in the attic in chalk. Unfortunately, we had a fire in 1967 that destroyed all of that, but there was still a plaque nailed up in the eaves over the washing machine in the basement that said "H.A. Disney 1910" in old fashioned script in blue chalk. The house was haunted. I lived there for 16 years. Nothing malevolent though, just footsteps in the upstairs, doors opening and closing, and one time the water turned on in the bathroom while there was no one in the house but me and a couple of my friends after school one day. I don't think my parents were ever aware. We sold the house in '75 and moved to Seattle but I still Google Map the address sometimes just to see what the house looks like.

Awe, come on! This had so much potential. I thought that the twitching head on the shelf was going to end up being one of the members of the family that moved. Perhaps the doll was holding the family captive in some state of induced paralysis or something. Also, the white goo needs to be explained somehow, and probably changed to something less easily sexualized.
