It's my mom's birthday today, so I haven't had time to edit a Steelshod episode. I didn't want to break the habit of uploading though, so have a short thing!

I hope your mom's birthday is a great one! Also, this story, short but MAN did it pull at the heartstrings...I'd be right with those players.

My grandmother had alzheimers disease so this hits home for me. What a sad, yet beautiful story.

My grandmother's there now, she forgets where she put down her book she was reading ten minutes before then is scared that someone is moving books in her home. I've screamed at telemarketers that scared her trying to sell her something.

@@DetectiveLance It gets harder my dude. We eventually had to put her in nursing home. We didn't want to, but she was becoming abusive to my autistic brother. Cherish her while you still have time.

Honestly, what was the DM expecting ? Of course, they were going to abandon everything to help the sad wizard.

Assuming this is D&D 5E, Greater Restoration should be able to repair his memory: " You imbue a creature you touch with positive energy to undo a debilitating effect. You can reduce the target's exhaustion level by one, or end one of the following effects on the target: One effect that charmed or petrified the target One curse, including the target's attunement to a cursed magic item Any reduction to one of the target's ability scores One effect reducing the target's hit point maximum" Senility would be interpreted as a reduction in the Old Wizard's intelligence, and thus the spell would repair his mind. If not, seeking help from a higher power would be your next best bet.

I think a wish will do just fine although just about any strong enough healing spell will do
