i can see that. I have another theory too. I think towards the end of the series you will see it was not ghost that got kanan locked up but Raq using ghost to do so. I think she heard how Kanan was moving in the streets and he had a son, Shawn. Overall she wanted to protect Shawn and not see the same thing happened to Kanan happen to shawn. I think she was a ghost mentor low key which is why kanan ended up in jail and started his vengeance kick on ghost. It would be funny if this was true because this basically means all of this started with Raq.

I feel like kanan will become ruthless based on his encounter with ghost and tommy to establish control hence the reason why ghost ended up setting him up to eventually move him out the way the moment as an audience we are waiting on to show us his ruthlessness won't be a particular scene or moment but rather a combination of events that lead him to becoming his own boss thus creating the ruthless pattern to establish control for his own organization that included ghost and tommy 💯

OMG! I worked as a nurse in a max security prison. Ronnie reminds me of an inmate we had. He had this uncomfortable 1000 yard stare but didn’t actually bother people unless he felt disrespected even for the smallest thing he would go crazy. He picked up a crate full of milk cartoons and hit a female staff member over the head because she wouldn’t let him eat. She said that he had already eaten , but he hadn’t he was in my pill call line. (we were running late that day because the facility had been on lock down earlier). I would have verified that he was getting his meds. I think she probably got ugly with him tho, cause he is usually very respectful unless you cross him he straight goes from 0 to 100. He was white but the big glasses, and odd quirks are spot on.

What a lot of crime shows/movies do not touch on, is back in the 70s/80s/& early 90s the nut house let a lot of people out into the street, which resulted in a surge of crime/violence. These people were more so mentally I’ll and the younger people took on the idea that to be gangsta or someone w/ a name, they had to be ruthlessly brazen. Ronnie is a perfect example. Really belongs in a nut house, but because of society he is let loose on the streets and deemed a ruthless criminal.

Ronnie tries to talk to Dean to get work. Dean denies him which upsets Ronnie. Dean now knows Ronnie gotta go. In the meantime, Ronnie checks on Kanan more to watch how his weed business flowing. He pulls up on him to press him about who he works for. Ronnie helps him do better with his business and better work after getting knocked by the cops. So he introduces Kanan to Snaps who he met in jail as another coke plug. So Ronnie will make money off of Kanan. But secretly, Ronnie is just using Kanans business to turn it into a crack selling business. Hold Kanan as ransom to lure Raq in. Kill Raq and take Kanans business (Theory on Ronnie’s plan)

Just watched 5 and although he was emotionless…Ronnie did seem surprised that Kanan was running his own operation at such a young age. Ronnie taking a liking to kanan is very possible.
