They removed one of the most tastiest orange trees that was in the back yard years ago !! I loved sitting under the Westeria covered patio or gazebo !! And munching on an orange at break time .

I lived for 10 years in that apartment building nextdoor to the Bailey house. I actually miss Whittier. At the time, I never thought I would say that. Lol. But I do. I love your videos.

I miss mountain biking the trails in the Whittier Hills, riding my road bike up Turnbull Canyon, walking into Uptown for the various restaurants, swimming at the YMCA, riding the Greenleaf bike path, etc. So, for me I missed it. For you, not so much. To each their own.

I believe the first hocus pocus house that was shown for sale was owned by the O'Hare family for decades. Great home!!!

Thanks Bobby for bringing the history of Whittier alive. For most of us that have lived here a long time we know the history of our city edit next Whittier so much more interesting especially when you can share it with other people. You do such a great job by telling the history and showing the videos of Whittier. Maria and I have seen actual Quakers at Jack's restaurant. They dress like the Amish and speak like them. When you know the history of the city you live in it makes it so much more interesting. Thanks for bringing Whittier alive from the past. I never knew the backyard was so large. At one time they also gave tours of President Richard Nixon's original house here in Whittier. Thanks for your great reports. 🙂👍
