I'm surprised how Zoroastrianism and Hinduism/Jainism/Buddhism have hells which emphasize so much of their punishments on disgusting their sinners, even more than inflicting corporal punishment. But then again it would be understandible. Something that hurts could be necessary, used productively. But things that disgust, those are always avoided instinctually!

slight but important distinction for around the 1:50 mark: you don't go to heaven or hell because you were good or evil (respectively), you go to the associäted one to burn off good and bad karma. you could ]be a perfect saint in this life and still end up in a hell immediätely after death because of negative karma from other lives... similarly you could be a mass murdering serial killer who targets pregnant women and 2yos and still go to heaven to burn off good karmas from other lives. additionally, given that one has an infinite amount of good and bad karma already (you still gain some, but already have infinite) you will inevitably end up there regardless (becoming englightened removes you from the cycle of karma and thus removes you from going to heaven or hell or anything else). the act of beïng good is indicitive of becoming enlightened which is why you would want to cultivate it and engage in it instead of just doïng whatever; and beïng enlightened causes you to only do good acts.

The real question is, can you let go of heaven or hell in order to have the experiences of a physical body again? Because if not then you are destined to stay in a place that you believe you deserve. Doomed to never feeling sunshine, a breeze against your skin, or the gentle caress of a lover, etc... then you are truly in Hell.

Earth is the permanant abode, heaven ,,and hell is here. Karma is constant, soul and body suffers accordingly. No one came back after death to give proper evidence, so earth is the prison ,you can choose to be in the prison garden (earth) and eat the delicious fruit or the chained prisoner according to the karma.. 😏😇

The goal of life in Dharmic religions is to escape the birth-rebirth cycle. So if you lead a pious enough life one will break free from this cycle and get to go to heaven of sorts or the abode of God. Another interesting thing is that those who die valiantly in battle go directly to heaven regardless of their karma. Just like there are different hells there are different heavens. This one is reserved exclusively for the brave and valiant like Valhalla. Perhaps originating from a common Indo-European myth
