What Happened to Enoch? | Book of Jasher

Much of what we’ve seen here in the apocryphal Book of Jasher does not appear in the traditional bible, or at least, not in so many words. Here in chapter three of Jasher, the focus shifts onto one of the more elusive biblical characters in Enoch, who we know from the bible was a descendant of Adam and one who was taken from the earth by God in a less traditional manner. Indeed, Enoch’s role in the biblical Genesis is extremely minimal and for the most part, his contribution to the narrative is easily overlooked, for it is really confined to only a few lines.

Enoch was aboriginal, his skin was dark, bone structure looked like an old white person's though, his eyes were blue, his hair was thick and white, his beard was the consistency of black man's, I could see his leathery skin reflecting the light of the angel, I was not allowed to look directly at the angel. We were around a campfire early in the morning, sunrise, reading text, I do not know the writing that appeared. FYI angels don't have wings, they are often mistaken for human. A warning to treat strangers kindly because you never knew when one would be an angel is one of many examples. 2 angels wouldn't allow a human to worship him, that's also biblical. 😊

Thanks for the interesting video. The book of Jasher puts the meat on the bones of some of the biblical stories. 1 Corinthians ch 3v2 - milk and meat meaning - a straight forward meaning and a deeper meaning. Malachi ch 5v4 - Elijah returns before the Day of the Lord. Hebrews ch 9v27 - it is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgement. Enoch and Elijah are in heaven fully human. Enoch given power over the angels - Daniel ch 7v12+23 + Revelation ch 9 - beasts, fourth kingdom - the rebellious fallen angels back on the earth. Enoch can call them out for who they are and what they are up to. 2 Kings ch 1 - the story of the three groups of 50 soldiers and their respective captains. The two witnesses can call fire down because those who come against them do not respect them as prophets of the Living God and therefore do not respect the Living God. Revelation ch 11 - the two witnesses - who have seen a considerable amount of our history while in heaven - are killed - Enoch and Elijah. Revelation ch 1v1 - shortly, Revelation ch 22v7 - quickly, Matthew ch 24v33 - is near. 2 Peter ch 3v8 - 1000 years is like a day and vice versa. In the Living God’s terms 2 days have passed whereas it has been 2000 years for us since Jesus was on the earth. Things are moving fast so that the completion of the scriptures can be fulfilled in the Living God’s timetable. The 3rd day Jesus rose after His crucification for the sin of mankind and will return again for the 3rd day or 1000 year reign - Revelation ch 20-22. No one on the earth who has lived has completed a 1000 years with the Lord. Methuselah came nearest as he lived for 969 years - Genesis ch 5v27. Believers will complete this when they rule with Jesus in the 1000 year reign. Listen to the two witnesses and the three Holy angels to come as they will respectively explain all you need to know including - preach the gospel, tell us who Babylon of our time is, warn us about the mark of the beast and the consequences if you take it - Revelation ch 11+14v6-12+13+17v8. John ch 14v1-6. KJV bible online used. You can look the references up if you wish. Rapture - 1 Corinthians ch 15v52 + Revelation ch 10v7 - no date is given but were it fits in the sequence of events is - two thirds into the Tribulation.

The mixing with humans and other prohibited acts were a question and mystery, what all were they doing? Then a couple years ago I read Jasher and that explained what the rebel angels were doing. They were mixing species (like DNA) and were doing it ON PURPOSE TO PROVOKE GOD. They wanted to mess up God's Creation and make their own. Apparently they had no idea the terrible judgement they were bringing on themselves.
