I had that calf issue for over a year. I was 48 at the time and the only thing that made it go away was- consistent stretching, massage, hydration, walking a lot and swimming. Hope that helps because although not super painful but def a hindering injury.

Back in high school(2010), we'd make somethung akin to those Super Surfers in woodshop class. There was a roller skate shop nearby who'd donate the trucks (usually with wheels still attached) as scrap metal for metal shop, but they used sheet so we'd use them in woodshop and just cut/shape the board. Funny how the design persisted in to the modern zeitgeist.
