is it just me or are the torches better at battery management and brightness without all the bulk?

Depends what your needs are. A good headlight or torch from Olight are great. I manly use this to help me with lighting while filming. Great to be able to change to colour (k)

Do you recommend any guides or companies that can help a beginner get into hunting ? Iam interested in hunting deer, goats, rabbit and possibly pig. I’m located in Brisbane

Hi Yoda, sorry i don't know of any mate. There are a few facebook pages (SE Hunting) that do have some information. Or there are clubs such as Australian Deer Association which can be of assistance. Finally another option would be to get your R License and hunt some of the state forests across in NSW. The hunting can be tough but still a great adventure.
