This woman made it to the age of 36 never being given valid criticism or ever being told "no." I thought she was like 23 or something, like _most_ Olympic athletes, but no. She's _one year younger than I am_ and went her entire life being overconfident enough to scam her way into The Olympics while having literally no talent, no humility, no self-awareness, and no ethics, and thinking she would not only not-get-caught, but might actually win. That literally is some Main Character Energy. Like Peter Griffin or Homer Simpson. And we're all Frank Grimes, being punished for pointing out the insanity.

Do you believe that (1) _she_ believed she was actually talented; or (2) that she knew she bl0ws hard but went to the Olympics anyway, knowing she'd embarrass herself and her country? I have to go with (1) -- how could someone be this terrible at something and not know it. PS: We all miss Grimey.

I work in academia (as 'Raygun' does). There are so many pro-women initiatives - women only funding, seminars, constant 'yay women!' emails and newsletters being sent around. Women now outnumber men by a considerable margin in academia (including top leadership positions), yet they're still pushing the false narrative they're the marginalized minority. If they really cared about equal gender representation all these pro-women initiatives would be replaced by pro-men initiatives. But of course they don't actually care about equality, that's just a convenient smokescreen.

I did a bit of a deep dive on this one. She clearly wasn't, and there are some serious allegations of corruption, racism, and nepotism/hypergamy against her, and Team Australia. The mainstream media are currently bending over backwards to cover this up. That petition seemed to make a few assumptions I disagree with, however. Judging by her 'qualifications', Ms. Gunn is a perfect example of a useful idiot, and I find it difficult to see her as the lone perpetrator in this. She had plenty of help getting the pieces moved.

She is absolutely not the best in Australia. She, and her husband set up a competition, without allowing anyone from the dance community to enter. The only people able to enter were their own crew. What’s funnier is the woman that raygun danced against, may have been far more competitive. In essence, it was a set up so her and her husband could get a holiday. Australia is a proud sporting nation, WE ARE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED IN THIS TRRRIBLE WOMAN

No. She owes Australia an apology for totally sucking. If she manipulated the system she owes the Judge an explanation. I'm not going to make sweeping claims that all of Australia hate her guts. Point is this is still mainstream discussion in Australia, the AOC (Australian Olympic Commission, not the chick) keep bringing out bigger and bigger front pieces to try and convince us that nothing bad has happened (Kierren Perkins - one of Australia's greatest swimmers - was dragged out two days back. People LOVE Perkins and still turned on him for being a simp), there is growing suggestions that the corruption goes deep and there is a non zero percent of Australian public who are spewing at this cringe. There are many people her who don't want her to apologise, they want her punished.

**EDIT**: Apparently this is false. Somehow she did qualify… she “is Oceania Championship's female champion… She has multiple breakdancing awards under her belt and is currently mentored by her husband, Samuel Free… she has competed for her nation in the WDSF World Championship Breaking in 2021 and 2022.” From what I’m reading… it almost sounds like she was outsourced from some third party organization and a lot of breakdancing orgs don’t seem to have the funds to sponsor or support many b-boys and b-girls. I’m still wondering how the hell ANYONE thought it was a good idea to allow her to represent AUS in the Olympics. She seems delusional. - Fun fact: her husband is on the Australian Olympics Committee. She was also one of the judges for their breakdancing auditions… I’ll let you piece together the rest as to how she managed to snake her way to the Paris Olympics. I hope your video doesn’t get nuked because a few KZbinrs are getting their content cut if you so much as even show a snippet of her flailing 😭

I’ve heard this called “Princess Syndrome”, and it’s a good title for it from what I see. We see it with some Swifties as well… people that can only see themselves (or someone they see themselves in) as only ever being a “hero” or a “victim”. She truly seems to believe that she is “good”, because she decided to change the standard to be what she wants it to be(one that favors her), instead of adhering to the existing standard. BUT then if you don’t like it, “you must be a misogynist, or you’re jealous!” (This then fuels the social movements to further support her) This mentality is scary and it comes from having an abundance of privileged opportunity, but with no accountability or expectations to match. We can’t sit and tell young girls that they can “do or be anything they want”, but at the same time, have no expectations for how they then participate. In fact, this is called “prejudice of lowered expectations” and this is why it’s not a good thing! She has now subsided in delusion(due to the ideological and nebulous favoritism she’s received), and only surrounds herself with those whom will validate her delusions(and it’s mind blowing how many will). They then all protect her from ever having to face reality. It’s really pretty scary actually, even for her own sake! Especially when people like this gain a position of “power”, and then gate-keep opportunity with, and for, their own delusional equity… the fact that this happened at the Olympics should be concerning to everyone. It is likely happening all over at this point and it’s very dangerous!
