Man so far, when it comes to doing electrics and wavedashing. The only controller that works for me is the regular series x controller.

I prefer the DualSense layout and Dpad. But with more support to PC.

@@ryozaki96 sony droped some app this week to support pc windows, i play without apps becose there always introduce some input lag, i tested steam version which you must drop money and introduced 0,28 frame addiotional lag, but without apps ps5 edge give me same results and stability as iniversal fighting board mounted in my other controlers, i buyed from curiosity edge , for me the most comfortable controller and the back buttons, as long as I keep two fingers on the top buttons, the xsx controller is just good in comfy for me when I hold it normally, the d-pad is only ok on ps5, I don't like how it sinks and doesn't bounce, and there are a lot of problems when I quickly change the block between b/db, but overall I was impressed with the controller and I use it on PC as well, I needed it because tournaments are run on PS5 and most of the adapters don't work well with PS5 or introduce weird input problems

@ZyletaSF4 that would be the scuf envision would be the closest to that.. the dpad is too stiff on it, though.

@@ZyletaSF4 I will check if they dropped an official app, it should be free anyway. I know another third party app that cost a little. And yeah the d-pad is not that accurate, if u want to switch from right to left quickly it can go up or down. But It's comfortable in fighting games for example.

The firmware updater is free, it got minor improvement and only Elite controllers can be modified. I think the pairing issue is caused by the type of Bluetooth I'm using.

Just dropping by after trying this controller out today and I can confirm. I think this could have been solved by just having a higher pivot joint. This dpad has no depth or give at all. Feels like you are mushing play dough with your thumb. The face buttons also.. despite having a click, move so little and stiffly, that it feels awful and as if there is no feedback or responsiveness. There is a V2 for this controller, but no way to tell which version will get shipped to you, and I am not sure how improved the dpad is. It is just bizarre that in 1983 Nintendo aced it with a dpad that won't output accidental diagonals, yet intentional diagonals come out perfectly, but in 2024 nearly every controller seems to have a poorly engineered dpad. Even the Nintendo's own Nintendo Online NES controller for Switch is flawed... all they had to do was use the same mold and PCB contact design.. but somehow even they screwed up.

Yea it's still more of an FPS controller than a fighting controller, the D-Pad is definitely in the wrong position for fighting.

it's proved that ps5 controller connection to console with cable or bluetooth nearly have 0 difference.
