It's great tips, but I'll also share what worked for me. Instead of setting up deadlines (the thing that's described in the video), I just set a time I have to work on each task, for example. 15 minutes of Spanish learning on Duolingo. 30 minutes practicing my copywriting skill. 30 minutes reading a book. 30 minutes writing a book. That's it for now. I do it daily. It's so damn powerful you've just gotta try it to experience its powefulness. So I'd suggest for anybody reading this, to give it a go. Truly powerful stuff. Also, don't be the guy who forces himself to work 8 hours a day like this, because: 1) You'll burn out 2) Busyness is a form of laziness, it's not about being busy, it's about being productive

1:15 uhmm actually, according to The Atlantic, Apr. 6, 2012, more Americans read more books now than they did in the '90s or '50s. And this trend seems to hold true all around the world. That isn't to say that quality reading is on the rise though. It just goes to prove that reading, in general, isn't going down but up.
@cevcena66924 жыл бұрын
From Googling that article it seems like the research focused on which generation read a book in the past year, it didn't compare how much people read in 1950 when they were 20 years old read compared to how much 20 year old who were living in 2012. All I'm saying is, it's a good study but it doesn't take a lot of factors into account.

I weed my garden the same way. I pull out 5 weeds everyday. Then after a few weeks you have a weeded garden. And it seemed effortless. Instead most people put it off for a few weeks because it's too hard in one go.

I am a fan of manga and anime. I always want to learn Japanese when I knew anime from the start. But for a so long time, I'm too lazy to learn a language. And when I watch your video_ an anime fan like you, you motivate me very much. I think I will try to learn Japanese again. Thanks for your comments. 😊 P/s: I am not very good at english too, so maybe you can't not understand well. So, whatever, thank you very much.🤗🤗🤗

I'm not really sure how to answer the question to be honest. When I'm reading a difficult text in Japanese, I still use English translations occasionally.

Regarding "Maximum Achievement": Do you listen to the abridged (less than 2 hours) or unabridged (13.5 hours) version?
@FluentJapaneseFromAnime6 жыл бұрын
I listened to the abridged version and thought it was fantastic, but I'm not sure exactly what I missed from the unabridged version. Maybe I'll pick up the unabridged version one day.

I don't like it when people count video games and using the internet as "a waste of time" be specific were you playing some garbage endless MMO that you really didn't want to? or were you enjoying what you were doing maybe some guy was looking up books to read, learning how to exercise on the web there's a lot of "I used to play video games and watch youtube now I exercise and read books look how great live is" videos out there but people aren't the same, not everyone wants that --------------------------------------------------- the note book and goals are great advice just start and drop it if you don't like it is another great tip
@FluentJapaneseFromAnime5 жыл бұрын
I really like this question actually. There are a number of games that could qualify as "garbage endless MMO" quality, but I think playing Hearthstone for 6-8 hours a day when I first got to Japan was a personal low point. I had a whole country and culture to explore, and I should have been spending those 6-8 hours immersing in native Japanese. But I came across this realization that I was not only doing this in Japan but I done the same exact thing in Korea for the 3 years I lived there. That's when everything changed (besides the fire nation attacking).

"just do it. actually read a book instead. here's an audible trial" k so this advice is useless.
