I feel like whatever happened 200 years ago when the Iron Giant attacked Mariejois is much more important than we've given that event credit for. Also the Nika Fruit had evaded the WG for 800 years, until 13 years ago when I'm guessing they captured/executed the previous user of that fruit. Also was thinking about it but on Water 7 they have that storm Aqualaguna and the water level goes up each year right? And we know when they blew up Lulusia Kingdom the water level went up right? I’m thinking the ancient kingdom will either be the Drum (Doramu) Kingdom, or the Kingdom of All Blue, the ocean paradise. That being said tho, I cannot express how hyped I am for the next chapter. Now that we will know what Oda never planned to tell us yet, we know there’s no going back after this, in real life and in the story. In real life it’ll almost be a big hype then a big disappointment knowing we’ll never get to unlearn and relearn that knowledge. This in my mind will be the one chapter that could blow 1043 out of the water in terms of hype and excitement, aside from the one piece reveal chapter, and I don’t think anyone, myself included, is ready.

It's been bugging for me for a while that Mariejois(merry joy) and Joyboy both refer to happiness, so does Laugh Tale. Can't think of any islands that have to do with happiness, though the Drum island theory isn't bad with the Drums of Liberation. Does that mean Zunesha can travel across the Red Line back to the 1st half of the Grand Line though?(it just seems like Zunesha betrayed Joyboy, so it's been wandering the New World for centuries where the island in question might be located? Unless Zunesha picked it up and it's Zou or Oars moved it and got his nickname the Island Mover)

Saturn can teleport in his circle somehow, so even if he wanted to destroy the island he just uses his circle to leave in mere seconds. Kizaru is a light man, he can just flash off the island like he did for that one attack on Luffy when they first started fighting. I always felt like they'd rather erase the island than let the Punks off of it, like O'Hara or Enes Lobby they'd rather lose what's there then risk certain secrets coming out.

There's a long theory I had regarding the Origin of Devil Fruits, but the TLDR was that the Ancient Kingdom was an advanced society founded by the Ancient Sky tribes that arrived from the moon. Other tribes on the planet joined in, and a literal Utopia was basically founded, with some nations, such as Wano, Ryuhu, and the Mokomo Dukedom being their allies. The Ancient Kingdom itself was named Olympus, and it was rumored as home to "gods", as whitebeard once said. The reason for this was because the Ruler of this kingdom was a man named Adam, who wanted to bring joy to the world and help people achieve their dreams. However, the Sea Devil, seeing Adam's mission as a threat to his dominion over the one piece world, tricked Adam into making a deal, and gave him a portion of his power to share with others. Adam, none the wiser, did so, and the powers would begin to spread and multiply in variety and type as the power was passed on to other members of the Kingdom. However, The Sea Devil was crafty, and masqueraded as a Nobleman named Nerona Imu, and raised fears with other kingdoms about Olympus, eventually forming an alliance to take them down. Eventually, the alliance went to war with the Ancient Kingdom, and over time, won, with the Sea Devil reclaiming and re-granting many of his power pieces to his allies to ensure their victory. Adam, however, in his final days, forsaw the coming defeat and the future events of the series, and decided to ensure they would come about. He made his final stand on an unknown island, and when Imu struck the final blow, Adam used his power he had granted to give "Freedom" to all the pieces of the Sea Devil's power that been given to others, causing them to he reborn as the Devil Fruit. Imu, seeing that Adam had managed to outplay him, decided to play the long game, and set up the WG, with the 5 Elders as his proxy figureheads, and made every effort to hide the truth of the 100 year void to prevent another Adam, or Nika (so named as that was how Adam's laugh sounded), from appearing. Now we're here, and unfortunately for old Seabiscuit, the shit has hit the Nika-shaped fan.

This to me, reinforces the idea that Imu has some sort of ocean or sea fruit. This very much sounds like an apocalyptic flood about to happen, where an all powerful god like being decides the world is FUBAR, and destroys it to build it anew by washing it all under the waves. Umi Bozu stocks rising. Perhaps even the reason devil fruit users drown, Imu is awakened and permanently infused the entire world's ocean with their haki or powers the same way Enel does with his lightning, but that's a bit more of a stretch.

We know a little about what vegapunk wants to accomplish with his speech. He's already said that there are things on egghead that he has to protect- so the protection of egghead, preventing the world government from erasing it like raftel, is a primary motivation. To do that, he's got to broadcast a call to arms to motivate the world to oppose the government. He'll tell the world the things that will anger them and he'll motivate straw hats allies to head to egghead to fight with straw hat. I think vegapunk will discuss the lost century, the destruction of ohara and the genocide of the lunarians and bucaneers. he might mention the depopulation contests the celestial dragons hold. And he might talk about the will of D, which would lead him to talking about luffy and nika. He'll have to mention nika. he's trying to motivate the population to oppose the WG so of course he's going to tell them the guy they've been waiting 800 years for has arrived. It wouldn't make sense for him to keep that to himself There would be no point in him talking about the origins of devil fruits, the one piece, raftel, or any other academic questions. I don't think he'll talk about the ancient weapons, but he might. And york has indicated that vegapunk doesn't even know imu even exists. If Vegapunk knew, I think he'd mention it. And I think "one piece" is a homograph, so you may be right about the kingdom of one piece and it's just spelled phonetically how it sounds (like one piece- won peace) right now because we don't know the actual phrase. I think the egghead arc is over. This is the start of a new arc. I was listening to the radio the other day. And they were talking about leap year, And how it would take between 700 and 800 years for our calender to reset back to Normal if we were to skip leap year. Like Christmas would be be in different seasons of the year ever 200 years. Like from winter to spring, another 200 years from spring to summer and so on. 800 year for the Christmas to land back on winter as we know it.
