One of my favorite features in Adobe Lightroom is the mobile syncing function. My favorite use in addition to syncing to the mobile app is the ability to create web galleries that automatically sync to your edits. This is particularly useful in collaboration situations when working with a client. In this tutorial I will show you how to create these.

My name is Ted Forbes and I make videos about photography. I’ve been making photographs most of my life and I have a tremendously deep passion for photography that I want to share with you on KZbin.
The Art of Photography is my channel and I produce photography videos to provide a 360 degree look into the world of making images. We all want to get better so lets do this together!
I make videos covering famous photographers, photography techniques, composition, the history of photography, philosophy and much more.
I also have a strong community of photographers who watch the show and we frequently do social media challenges for photographers to submit their own work. I feature the best and most interesting on the show when we do these so come check it out and get involved!

Ted, I was eager to learn about this feature, but had to stop at the 20 second mark after seeing a Catch That Pigeon clip. Are you kidding me?! I LOVED that as a kid. I’ve been quite the fan of you and your channel lately, but this just elevated you into a whole new level! Maybe I should watch the rest of the video now, lol.

If you use Photoshop to open the images first and save them as psp files, you can import the psp files and share them as Ted shows here and the editing you do in Photoshop will also sync the same way when you open Lightroom. But it works slower as Lightroom use some longer time to load changes to the psp files.

Great vid Ted. I agree a great feature that is under utilized by many. Helps to get realtime feedback from the client/customer on what they like/dont like. If you had 3 different versions (virtual copies) of an image say Regular, B&W and Split Toned, that you created they could say which one they liked the best and then you could easily show whats possible and they could choose. Sometimes the customer doesnt know what is possible unless you steer them in the right direction. Its your vision, so....use the power of the tools. Keep it up

Sort of. When I first got into Video Production I got this program called Wondershare Filmora Pro. It was like $80 and I had used up until about a year ago when I really go serious about Video Production. That's when I checked out Final Cut on my friends Mac. It looked really good but unfortunately, I use a PC so that's when I got the trial version of Adobe CC and all its apps. I really loved all the programs but it was a bit too much money than I had. Then I won DevinSuperTramp's stuntman contest a couple of weeks ago and got a years worth of CC for free! Don't know what I will do when the years over though! I better start saving! 😀

1) Make sure your lightroom collection is synced to the cloud (as Ted just showed), 2) Install lightroom mobile on your phone, 3)open the app, find the picture you want, hit the share button and it'll have an option for instagram.

I had no idea haha. You know what would be cool though and who knows, maybe it's already built in, but say if you send 100 photos like this to a client and they pick their best using the favorite icon and it shows up in your Lightroom library so you can quickly narrow it down. That's something that needs to be added if it isn't already. Great video Ted!

I prefer using Nextcloud - I have it on my own dedicated server so I don't have to trust public clouds and I have much more sharing options like protecting a share with passwords or defining a date to automatically stop sharing. Also I'm not only limited to photos as all kinds of files can be synced.
