It's considered one of, if not the best, trilogy of all time. Actually, I saw an article (that resonates with me since I love LOTRs and I'm almost 30), that LOTRs is apparently loved by a lot of millennial women (and people of all demographics of course), but one quote was "With tender male relationships and fearless female characters, the trilogy drew in tween girls who still hold the films dear in their 20s and 30s.", which kind of reminds me of Stranger Things in a way!
