Good point - some cars its easier to give more coverage of the interior. With the Camaro, we felt it was more about the experience of driving it. But you do have a point! JB

Must be my favorite US muscle Car atm and I´m not such a big fan of US cars in general but this does it for me, looks great inside and outside, drives well on track and on the road and has the grunt a muscle car should have. Also remembering the way this car came to life and how close the production was to the Concept - that is something that can not be said about a many cars. So just thumps up for this American muscle.

Depends on the LS engine to me. I really like all the gen IV stuff, especially the LS3/7. I like the JZ engines a LOT though. They come with stout internals and a really good flowing cylinder head. 2 things that are ideal for boost. I'm just a big fan of straight 6s in general!

Just for reference, that Nurburgring lap time is about 2 seconds faster than a 2010 GT-R. Well worth the money IMO

Great video, this coming from a 2013 Mustang GT owner. I love my car and have handed plenty of SS's a ass kicking on the road course. But these ZL1's and 1LE's are the performance bargains for road course work.

You are wrong. The mustang is supposed to be a track car, not just a 1/4 mile car. Ford was going after the M3 with the new GT's which means they were focusing on a track, not just a straight line.

I'd like to see GM come up with a new RWD chassis. There isn't anything wrong with this one, I suppose, but it's been in use since before the 2004 GTO was in production I believe. It's nearly 10 years old now and could use a revamp, in my opinion.

I understand your opinion on fords purposed evolution of the mustang.that should hold true with fords whole lineup this same thinking is what took ford out of the dark ages.there mid 90s cars wasnt much different than the cars they made in the mid 70s.but a ponycar is a different animal.not only is it an icon its the reason ford still exist.the V8 and the caveman live axle make it a mustang.

Yep if you know how to work the stickshift an LS3 Camaro SS can easily get over 20mpg with 426 hp I do it all the time.

not try they did test them and the zl1 was only 2 seconds slower on the track i think but it has all wheel drive so its not in the same class to began with.

Honestly yeah, the cowl was a tad high for me (I guess that's more of a height issue on my side), but the rear quarter panels and the rear window were just not usable at all for me IMO. The price of the 335is was what it brought me back to the ground. It was stickered at 44k, and the lowest financing I was able to get for it was 11% which was too steep for me unfortunately.

Dead end tech? Funny how the new Powerstroke still uses it... And how can you say LSx engines are inefficient? They are simple to modify because of their OHV design and that's why people love them. Heads/cam/intake and you have a stout N/A engine combo. Plus they respond well to forced induction/nitrous. Another big advantage is that they don't need standalones to allow for huge power... There's plenty of single digit LSx cars with tuned factory GM ECUs. Inefficient? Hardly.
