Finally someone talks about this! Anna is my favorite artist, she helped me so much throught my childhood. Then she just dissapeared and no one said anything. I hope she's doing well, wherever she is. Hope to see her come back, even if it's just a word!

@@marsii Yeah, it actually does! Though if that’s what happened it would be a pity because that means she won't be back. I have checked reddit, another theory is she broke up with Damien but there’s no proof of that, i feel like your theory makes more sense though.

As someone who just discovered anna and don't understand how anything correlates (the comic, the music video, etc), this explains why half of everything i can find is wiped off the internet. i felt like i was going insane, thanks!

So long in short of it. What happened was Anna blue and Damien were signed to a company that held all their rights, the company eventually either got bought out or shut down, and never released the rights for their music or characters back to them. And it pretty much destroyed all their hard work and fan base, exponentially since she can no longer use the Anna blue name or image, she can not contact or post anything for her fan base or create a new site, page, or KZbin.

The truth is that I miss Anna and Damien very much, their songs helped me through difficult times, and even today I still identify with their songs. I hope they can return soon and I cross my fingers that they return soon. Thanks for the video, although I know it is a theory, at least it takes away the anxiety of not knowing why they have disappeared

I am a huge fan of Anna's and Damien's Songs as well. But if they would have decided to quit KZbin completely I would completely understand it. I mean you have to see it that way: They have been doing music since thirteen years. And well... They have jobs and a private life. Maybe they where overwhelmed with life, job plus the KZbin accounts and decided for themselves to quit KZbin and lead a private, quiet life like everyone else. They are only humans too.

Warning: VFLC (very frikkin long comment). I miss Anna so much. I loved her music back in high school and remember how fun it was to keep up with the story, the new records and interacting with Anna herself on Instagram. We had a Facebook group for the Blueberries and everything, I should go check and see if it's still somewhat active after all this time. But yeah, eventually life got the literal best out of me and when I checked again, Anna was gone. :'( Came back to her music tonight and ended up here out of curiosity. For what I saw on a Reddit post, it seems like Anne (the illustrator) confirmed it was indeed an issue with the label closing/selling off before Anna and Damien could get the rights to their IPs, so they might never be able to come back... It's a little depressing, tbh. But now's only hoping that a) they can find, or already have found, a way to move on and keep doing what they love some other way, and/or b) they will eventually come back once they recover the rights. We do have a precedent of Anna being gone for years and then coming back, but who knows... Hopefully they're both doing well, either way. P.S: I do wonder if Anna has seen any of these videos/community posts, given the community was big but relatively niche. I you do see this, hi, thank you for everything. :) Your music did so much back then. Where Do I Go was there when everyone else knew what they'd do with their lives and I felt lost, and Nacht would always help me sleep. You brought so much calm, fun and community/a safe space to little weirdos like me all over the world. I hope if you take anything from this, you know that you you did something wonderful while it lasted.

There is a emo music group called AugmentedHearts. The locations are different, no member named Anna. I know they are different persons/groups but I simply felt a similarity. Maybe... Or maybe I felt wrong.

I think they try to find a new studio and a new team for a new start permanently, but everything is expensive because the war in Ukraine. I just think need more time to restarting the all things and more money for that. (PS: they need to find new artists for the animation because the artist left the team for personal project❤)
