I think social media influences us to prefer the 25, but it really should be based on what you personally love and what works for your lifestyle! Hey Jess…the Kelly 32 is not too large. I think the tiny bag trend has us all twisted about how 32cm/12 inches large but it really is not too big and is a very practical width. I am so glad you are wearing your bags and the black Kelly is a classic that will never go out of style.

I have a Kelly 25 and I never end up using it over my Kelly 32 which is just so funny to me. I’m a smaller frame as well so I can relate. Your Black Kelly is so beautiful and classic and can go with anything, mine is in Ebene 💜

Glad you mentioned how great the Kelly 32 is in Epsom… big and light with a detachable crossbody strap. Definitely a practical, utilitarian choice that’ll last for a lifetime, and you can add pops of colour re a charm/twilly if need be. I reckon I’d pick the red Kelly if it was a newer one, but your choice of the pink makes sense too. I love that red can go with both colourful fits, and neutral fits… really a versatile colour. If that pink Birkin was red w/ gold hardware I’d pick it as a forever five bag straight away!

I'd also choose the red , but regardless of age, newer doesn't mean better quality, as we've seen with many luxury brands lately. The fact that bag looks SO good still, means it will still look good years down the road if taken care of properly.

Seing the 5 bags you would keep but knowing you already have the others is really interesting to me. They are mostly tied to emotions. I’m thinking if the red one didn’t make it because it’s slightly damaged, imagine its an ultra rare Pokémon that’s just been in battle. You would want to keep it. You gotta catch them all 😂.

Is it 5 bags as collectible? Or only get to own 5 bags total for any purpose? Just as collectibles, 5 rarest. But 5 to use and wear, then sell the rest for money? Btdt: keep the 5 you will use the most, that means the Rose Poupre Birkin 30 goes, and nets some real dosh while it's still popular, same with bleu atoll bolide sadly(such a cute bag!). Keep the Kelly 32, Mini Lindy, the Rose (bubblegum) Bolide or the Cabasellier whichever is more useful, the Trim(yeah meh, but you use it!), and the Coach. There's not much practical about luxury? I'm trying to only keep what I'd wear just because there's always more stuff coming up
