Does the trivet with handles fit the smaller Instant Pot?

No. It has to be for exact size. My 8 quart trivet won’t fit into 6 quart. It fits but handles won’t stay up and fold down.

Question: How do you remove the garlic or onion smell from your silicone ring? I've tried everything, and nothing has worked.

Basically nothing really works because silicone absorbs smell like crazy. Helps a bit to store with lid upside down so it ventilates.

Buy more rings. One for each type of foods you cook with. Colour coated . I have 4. One for stew, white. one for chilies red. and one for what ever, blue. plus an extra one for back up clean smell. You can try soaking them in vinegar over nigh. It’s what I have going on. Happy instant potting!!!

@@lebsivart2755 wash in dishwasher. If that doesn't work, soak overnight in denture tabs....can also leave out in the sun for an hour or so.
