This was so easy and so good! Thank you!! I LOVE Swiss meringue but I always avoided making it because I didn't want to deal with cooking the egg whites. This recipe has changed my life!! I added ground freeze-dried strawberries for a perfect strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream!

I use this same buttercream and it is a game changer I can eat it with a spoon by it self taste like ice cream 😋my customers LOVE IT!! But I use a different vanilla flavoring 🙌🏽

omg lovin 😋 this. Am a cook but often want to dabble in baking. Failed and succeeded. can't wait to try this. With egg white? never thought of that but looks good.. pst 😉 I know.. why not salted butter. lol I did that as well and people loved it wonder why it was not as sugary as most creams are. lol. 😉salted butter (duh) New subscriber waiting to learn more from you and start dabbling my own.

@@punkinsmith4764 no! Just use 10x powder sugar. The sugar can totally be adjusted based on your preference

Yes it pipes amazing! I would just not mix it on low for as long as that softens it. But super stable, it’s all I use

Salted butter. I prefer it for baking as well. I just reduce the salt in the food. But the butter tastes better if salted, just like any other food.

@@ElmosWrld300 no that’s normal! Just mix in more sugar and even vanilla bean paste like mentioned to your liking. I personally don’t like an overly sweet frosting with cake. But def add vanilla bean paste! You’ll love it.

I made this tonight. To frost 2 cakes. Both cakes were frozen. After I was done decorating, and went to put them in the fridge, I noticed that 1 side of the Cake had cracked. I had to smooth it back out and redecorate. I'm afraid it will do it overnight and be ruined for tomorrow's gathering. Can someone explain.. is using a frozen or cold cake the problem?

How thick is your cake board? Often times the cake is too heavy. This will cause cracking too

@@jewelempress9134 it’s necessary for this recipe. Otherwise just make an actual Swiss meringue or American buttercream. Pretty much everywhere sells it, it’s just carton egg whites

Way too sweet and salty at the same time. I wouldn’t use salted butter and then salt on top of it. Not a fan

DO NOT FOLLOW HIS RECIPE. I tried it, it is SALTY. I may try it again using UNSALTED butter, don't do it his way though. Wow that was bad.

@@jameskeathley7244 we never experienced it being too salty but everyone has different preferences. Just increase the sugar or cut back on the salt. Easy fix, no need to overreact 😭
