@Jeremy Marsh Actually, RAM and GM both suck. Poor quality control. I had many Fords, and had way less problems. My 99 F250 had 398k miles when I sold it to my neighbor, and he still drives it. Only major fix was a transmission at 275k miles. My 05 Focus had 200k miles when we sold it to my wife's brother, and he's still driving it with almost 300k miles! Same engine and transmission. Had a 94 Ranger and sold it at 150k miles. Ran great. Bought a Dodge Ram after that and dumped it 6 months later, even with taking a loss. Piece of garbage. I have an 05 Focus wagon now, with 107k miles and runs like a top and a 2014 F350 diesel with 66k miles. Just saying.

@@calebwhite6173 power and towing capacity is very limited. We towed a horse trailer with two mules and although it was able to do it, it definitely struggled. yeah like the 1970 C10 but those are carburated and are not as fuel efficient as this one, i would enjoy older cars a lot more if fuel wasnt so high cost here in canada, it empties my wallet and also because i am a teenager they charge more for insurance on an older/ sportier looking car, in the future theres not gonna be a memory of this, only pictures and encyclopedias and museum. Interior door handles break about every 3 yrs or so, another cheap and easy fix. Fuel pumps go bad frequently, easier to lift the bed than to drop the fuel tank, pumps run around $100. Trans is good for around 125k mi. I have 309k on the original engine, never been apart other than the fuel injection under the intake plenum.

Fishermanguy44 the thing is to is that most of these are work trucks, no one thought that they’d be gems in the future, and Chevys “Anti Rust Protection” didn’t work so well so they rusted to hell. I really hope I’ll be able to find one. My GREAT grandfather got an 88” top low the roads. He loved it but took 0 care of it and it sat in the rain and snow outside and rusted out, the bed fell of, the frame split in half, But it still works and plows the roads to this day. I want it, but there’s no way it would pass emissions. If the cops saw an 88” with a mossy emblem and a wooden box as the bed, it’s over for you.
