Appreciate the commentary during the gameplay of the loadout. So many content creators just throw out a 'THIS KIT IS THE MOOOST EXTREEEEEME!' sort of click bait and then it is just 12 minutes of them using the gun. Hearing a bit of the thought process regarding the loadout, its strengths and limitations, as well as some of the considerations made during the highlighted gameplay go a hell of a lot further than just raw gameplay using the gun.

I feel like one thing you could have mentioned is if you don't have Bulletgrubber, you can empty the Specter sidearm by reloading to drop a bullet, swap weapons quickly back and forth, then repeat until the specter is empty. This is silent and honestly takes about the same time.

a pair of lemats would give you 1 less slug than the specter compact (iirc they are 2/6 when paired, so 8 when emptied) while still giving you lots of compact dualies to spam down AI

Or players. Dualies with FMJ can wallbang spam pretty well, or save your ass when your shotty is empty and you can't reload. I too would prefer this over literally only having a Shotgun, not even a Derringer. It might be a tiny bit more expensive esp with FMJ added but this is not a budget loadout anyway.

I actually love running romero handcannon with slugs. Its technically the cheapest slugs and it really makes the handcannon dangerous

Lemat Carbine with like $65 slugs enters the chat. I believe the slugs on the LeMat Carbine are as good as either a Rival or Romero handcannon, I forgot. But the versatility is unrivaled esp with the new fire rate buff and pretty sure the slug 1-taps to the body up to 10m. Just bring a compact FMJ ammo slave (conversion with Fanning, or New Army without) and an ammo box just in case. If they add a Lemat Carbine Striker or some other melee attachment to finish people off (idk if that's even possible on the gun) I will never play anything else again lol. Sadly the LeMat Carbine shotgun does not count as shotgun damage/kills for the challenges.. They count as pistol kills lol

Also if you don't have bulletgrubber you can silently empty that Specter Compact, no need to tell everyone where you spawned :p Does not matter to Rachta but we are not all Rachta lol. I would prefer this loadout with dual LeMats with FMJ. You only get 1 less reserve slug, and the dual pistols can save your life if the shotty is empty, also good for wallbanging

Wouldn't it be better to bring dual Lemats with FMJ and slugs? Sure you might get less extra slugs, +8 in reserve, but the dual LeMats can come in very handy with FMJ pen and wallbanging. I know Specter compact has a ton of reserve ammo but pretty sure that's a bug they introduced recently. Or did they fix it? After one patch it had the same or even more reserve ammo than the big specter lol.

Slugs basically turns your shotgun into a rifle....albeit one that can 1 tap players at close range. I find it much more useful then buckshot and headshots can pull off kills at surprising ranges.

I play something like that from moment when slugs arive. Use only crown for that cuz i found anything else is slow reload/recoil or too clumsy (for me is specter). Then slate came and was great with perk but after nerf only use crown. Never buy always only loot :) Thx for vid a díky za streamy :)

Romero Hatchet with Slugs + Pennyshot is a solid secondary for any loadout with range. Pennyshot shreds bosses and can be used vs players too, Slugs shred players, Hatchet lets you chop them as a last resort.

EVERY single goddamn time I use the slug it always seems to hit the arms and barely do any damage like 65 only when I know it would had been a sure OHK if I had buck shot. Then the question is, why use slug when I could use a Krag or Vetterly or even a Winny that will 2-tap much easier from even further with more ammo and faster bullet for fast less money than a Crown Slug. The only advantage is the potential 15m OHK which never works for me (-_-)

Great video! I am not a fan of slugs...I think they add to the massive imbalance that shotguns in general have, by essentially cancelling their only real drawback which is range. For one upgrade you can make the weapon virtually no different (two tap) than most of the guns in the game at mid range, while still retain one hit down easy clap. I believe you can also get more slug ammo, although I could be wrong wouldn't double lemat add more slugs? in addition you could meme with fire ammo so in more prolonged engagements you can assert some attrition...

I don't like going against slugs because if you're out of range of the one-shot, they can still 2-tap you quite easily. Nerf the damage, give them more ammo, and make them cost 0 hunt dollars. They should be an alternative to buckshot; not a straight upgrade that costs a lot.
