@@Klassikhuhn I got calcharo as my free 5star and he's awesome, I don't know what anyone's talking about when they complain. At first their criticism made me think awe damn I have a bad character, and then everyone is like u gotta play him right which I don't know how, so I did try getting some other characters up and we'll, they don't even compare. Calcharo hits over 1k on basic attacks and 2 to 4k on crits, health even on bosses drops like its on fire. I have high crit rate, nearly 50percent that might help but what everyone is saying that he isn't good it doesn't make sense. I don't even know how to use his moves and he's strong as hell. I am happy with my pick, plus I only got him coz he looks like sephiroth so he fulfills his purpose regardless lol

This video is kind of gigabait. DO NOT PICK VERINA AS YOUR FREE 5 star (at least not right away). Do all of the beginner banner first to see what 5 star you get first. If you dont get verina from there, THEN get her as your free one. If you are trying to have the most optimal account at the start of the game, you want either verina/calcharo, or verina/encore (this is the best start you can have). If you pick her right away as your free one, and then get her in your beginner banner your account is pretty much bricked. Also, never pull on the standard character banner, always use your normal pulls on the weapon banner since youll always get what you want while filling out your extra copies of 4 star character (best 5 star weapons are the 1 handed sword and the gun, then the greatsword and the rest are meh). You'll eventually get all the permanent 5 star characters from losing 50/50s.

Bad advice, never go for Calculator. You'd be better off with havoc rover later on. In the meantime you can use Chixia as your main DPS

@adriantepes4355 i dont think you understand what I said. I said encore is the best, but out of every other option, if you really want to pick something else you pick him since he is second best. Getting him on the beginner banner isn't the worst thing you could get. Most people are getting carlotta anyways so whatever dps you get doesn't really matter.

​@@adriantepes4355Considering you need 3 teams for tower, Calcharo is perfectly usable. Sure you'll bench him later but such is the case with every non-verina standard character currently encore is better but Calcharo works just fine

Good points, although I don't think it's that big of a deal to get multi Verina. Her s1 is pretty nice, and she is a more usable character long-term. I get it tho, in the beginning you are struggling just to have characters to play, but understand you'll pick up limited characters and weapons over time. Same thing with the weapon banners, where you only really need the sword/pistol. The rest will get outclassed before you know it, because of not having crit stat. So it's not a long-term blunder to pull some on the standard character banner. I recommend just take it easy, it takes time to build up an account no matter what you do by design. Get the new shiny thing (maybe carlotta and her weapon) and in the future try to get characters that can be combined in as many ways as possible. Don't fall for characters with hyper specific synergies (the whale baiting of gacha) and you should be fine.

Encore still has value if you are new since you don't have a lot of characters and the tower limit the number of times the unit can use so use encore on floor 1 2 3 and leave the strongest dps for the last floor that way you can earn more pull.

"Rerun will come out later down the line within a SET TIME PERIOD." False, there's no SET TIME for a Banner's rerun. Xiangli Yao & Zhezhi had their rerun before Changli.

as of right now, I have every limited character w/ there weapon my must pulls would be -Jinhsi -Shorekeeper -Zhezei ( if you have two main DPS already) but remember, pull for who you love because it's just a game to have fun! in terms of weapons, I suggest if you are a F2P, just get the weapon for your main DPS. For the most part, most supports can use F2P weapons. Also, for 2.0, I believe you should save for Zani since she will be a 5-star shielder, and if you played GI, you know how busted a shield can be. If you don't just think about it like this, it's brain-dead gameplay and makes the game easy. Also, you should save for the new sentinel character they introduced because she will most likely be a 2nd Jinhsi and be a busted DPS or, if not, a deadly support value either way.

Best way to pull: pull who you want. It’s just a silly anime game meant to blow off steam. If you like meta, pull for meta! If you like designs pull for designs. At the end of the day they’re your pulls. Now, if you want everyone that’s another can of worms 😂

the only time that pity would be built (not intentionally) would be when pulling for 4 stars/their copies and or getting enough oscilated coral to buy the pulls in the store its fine to go 10 to 20 pity in on a character you dont NEED, but would have an impact on your account if you got them if you get them, then woohoo if not then you get like an extra 1 to 2 pulls in that patch that you wouldn't have gotten

You could also consider skipping on both, we f2p only get like 2 characters per year reliably and if we look at past gacha games where people have "messed up their accounts" it's always for the same reason: Trying to build every type of team, every element, every mechanic. Pheobe features the new spectral debuff mechanic. It's hyper specific, and you'll eventually want/need all the other characters released that support that mechanic. It's risky as this mechanic may not be supported forever and DoT ("damage over time") have a terrible track-record in other gacha games. Brant is a really cool fire support, and most likely the only fire support that will ever get released or for a long time to come. Brant's gimmick is being a support that can deal damage, so you need to commit resources into him to make that work. He is not like Shorekeeper, who provides value just by existing. He is specific to building fire teams, and you should ask yourself if building the best fire team is what you are looking to do long-term. I hope this gives you some clarity when deciding.

my personal plan on wuthering waves is to build 3 teams only and vertically invest in those 3 team, currently i have carllotta, xiangli yao and camellya as my main dps for each team and gonna pull for their BiS teammates after that i will pull their S3 and s2 or s3 for their BiS supports, im betting that getting s3 on 3 teams will last a long time to clear endgame this is a gamble im willing to bet instead of horizontal investment as f2p(planning to spend some for monthly regularly)

I had around 30 pulls and eventually lost 50/50 at around soft pity. I grinded the exploration and events and some parts of main story from chapter 1 act 5 or something and got enough pulls to get Carlotta. If you have a lot of quests and exploration not done you can def grind enough to guarantee Carlotta

Encore and Jianxin don’t work well with Carlotta, so I’d say Carlotta > Verina > Rover/Yangyang is ur best team to make

If you just started a week ago you could get the weapon if you grind for it this game has lots of content. Just make sure you do all the events and farm open world as much as possible if you are looking to grab a new unit

@@_frostyboi_2595 nah I mean like shorekeeper, Yao/Carlotta, changli. For one team then Verina, yinlin, and calculator for the other. Shorekeeper isn’t bad for hyper carry but using her on hyper carry when you have Verina means you’re missing out on some quick swap opportunities. Also yinlin is a good support but using her on changli when you have 2 electro dps’s is a waste since changli can’t make use of her buffs. Whereas someone like Taoqi and jianxin can give changli the resonance skill buff and a shield. Or lumi who can buff resonance skill and she’s easy to play.

get verina form the ticket and put verina on the selector 80pull banner even if y get her form your beginner banner C2 verina will benefit y alot more than whatever the other 4 will do to yr account after that build yr team one by one y have verin so get any dps that works with her then get build a4 that works with the main dps that y have yr first team is ready now to the next team same thing get shower keeper get a main dps and build a 4 that works with him after that yr 3 team get a main dps get a 4 that works with him and any other healer all yr main dps should by on deferent color and weapons and get the limited weapon for all of them after doing all of that y will destroy whatever the game push on y
