I love tying predator streamer flies and this is such a simple, good looking pattern that I can see why it's your favorite. The flatwing style tail makes a lot of sense. I'll be tying some of these today. Thanks!

well thought out, practical incorporation of two styles. Do the feathers kick on the jerk? Ever put a short articulated shank on for the tail. Try Preditor wrap for flash. Drabon tail? What a chassis. Thanks. Bob

@@TheStreamUrchin1 hey, thank you! They do give some good movement and I have tried a mono extended body, like a beast fly. That worked well, but I hate tying on mono. Never tried a predator wrap, but will definitely in the future!
