Hello from Autryville, NC area. Enjoy viewing your videos. Starting to see some weather in the 50 & 60's here. Hope to start fishing here in the next week or so. My favorite senko is the black blue tip, usually Wacky rigged.

All ya need is green pumpkin, green pumpkin and dark green pumpkin 😂. Yea you really only need three colors to be successful, the rest catch fisherman more than fish lol. A natural color (shad imitation is fine) watermelon, green pumpkin (which is universal to all color clarities but super muddy), super muddy use a black, black blue or dark junebug. The green pumpkin can vary with flake colors just depends on what youre confident in. Thats in worme or stick baits. In swimbaits maybe 4 colors to cover the spectrum due to the various bait fish you may encounter.

New sub, great info, thank you!!! The Yamamoto 5" watermelon with chartreuse tail has saved me from getting skunked too many times to count!!! I also keep some bubble gum/pink ones in my bag just to throw something different when fishing heavily pressured public ponds/lakes, it has produced bites when the fishing is tough.

Thanks for the sub! I keep forgetting about bubblegum to be honest but I just haven't experienced much success in that color in a senko, bubblegum is however one of my favorite floating worm colors that I throw a lot throughout most of the year.

Im in florida, and i use custom worms. I dont use regular colors.and i do good with em. I use the custom.color after i throw a different lure. Its a follow up bait,and i need to see how i work it,so a bright color is key for my needs.and i try new colors all the time. My thoughts... its just a silhouettes they see,and i hold the worm up to the light to see what it looks like from below..how much it glows,or translucency.

I started custom pouring my own senkos and made a watermelon, black with blue flake, and a white. Any tips on how to sell them?

I really don't have any tips on how to sell them. When I first started pouring years ago I did sell my stuff a bit but soon realized it was a very saturated market with everyone undercutting everyone else and decided it was not worth it. Maybe it is different now. Guess I would make sure you have all the paperwork filled out for taxes and get an LLC. Start listing on the various Facebook and other social media forums that allow baitmakers to sell their stuff.

Yes I do, mine still is not quite the same shade of watermelon base as the GYCB version but its close enough in my opinion. Feel free to send some of your warm Arizona air temps up my way!

Its also doesn't help that the Do-It CNC Senko molds that I'm using don't seem to close tight despite me clamping them pretty solidly. On one of my molds I had to remove the hinge entirely because it wouldn't shut tight. Not saying its a pressure issue just that these Do-It Senko molds are the only molds that I have that ever give me flashing issues. I probably could do a better job of trimming the flashing but the fish don't seem to care too much.

@@DavidBromenshenkelFishing ohhhh. yeah, i have a do-it senco mold too, they get the job done but they are not the best. they usually leave a matte finish because of the sand cast surface though, but yours looked pretty glossy. i wouldnt have expected it to be a do-it mold. ive heard things like hitting them with a heat gun melts it off quick and easy, but like you, if they are for my own use, i really dont care. i was going to go on on the subject of sencos, but i see you have a video on shooting sencos on the side there >>> ill go check that out.

Not sure what I'm suppose to take this comment as soo I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and just say that I would love to fish more but seeing as how our lakes up here are currently frozen over with about 6" of ice I'm afraid I'm not going fishing anytime soon so I'm staying online and going to keep cranking out videos. If you like them and find them helpful or entertaining than awesome, that's what I'm aiming for. If not than no big deal I might have something that will be in the future for you.

I WISH I could narrow it down to just those! Its all just a confidence thing just like with anything in fishing. Fully agreed though a Watermelon, a green pumpkin, and a junebug or black/blue will do just about everything one could ever ask for.
