Damn, your channel is awesome. I play other tcgs, but modern yugioh is imo a little hard to enter. I was just looking some archetype guides and such and thinking about building archetypal decks to start learning the game. Archfiend/summoned skull, fur hire and volcanic are my first choices. Thanks! It has taken me some time to get around to replying to everyone. The best paper Archfiend version is a tough one to tell really, but if you run 1 or 2 packages to summon Chaos Archfiend, then that'd probably be the strongest variant

You're welcome! Celestial Observatory is a cool card but it's also incredibly specific. I need Summoned Skull in hand to use it pretty much. I think it's better to use other more generic spells like Allure of Darkness that are applicable to more targets in the deck

Keep in mind with the "Lab version" that Burial goods is at 1... And why the furniture doesn't discard for effect? Konami!!! Roar destroys a monster by trap effect as well, so all Lab effects would trigger (Ofc you know Heiress can search with it) Any opinion on Commander for the xyz variant? Going for the retro style of Palabyrinth perhaps (Tour guide > Heiress, Commander pop from hand, search field, vanish Tour guide, summon whichever skull dude you didn't draw, because of course you will draw those big garnets... Better get your Call of the Archfiend ready...) I'm really tempted to invest (MD thou) on Nadir's & friends; I love my extra deck with Labrynth, but can't deny the versatility of Dogmatika package (Not just for punishement thou)... Can even lead to natural Chaos synchros with the Virtuous ladies (Angel when Arius, beast / Call with Stovie) Had some experience with Ritual on Lab (Zorc... Pre-prep is superb), but since Awakening can't use it, your take is very solid Happy new year btw, don't forget to turn off the stove once in a while chef, so the clients can savor the spices out of the oven

@TheArchfiendGuy Sangan if he gets on the field is good but Holding Legs is a cool tech because you get a chance to summon it and if you don't you can leave it in the grave to use its effect in grave.

So I see you reach into a lot of other deck to make these decks : dogmatika, rokkets, punks. Where do you learn the combos from these other decks. KZbin, a website? or do you manually play and learn yourself?

Looots of practice really. I have a vague idea of most decks but if I need to delve into decks beyond my own tests, I'll usually seek out the individual discord servers

I have! It's an interesting card but a bit odd to use. Part of me thinks it should be a 1 of tech, but to get the most use out of it you kind of need 3, but 3 is too much!
