Amazing. Vader (Anakin) does not seem convinced about being loyal to the Sith philosophy, as he was not to the Jedi. Palpatine had to take note of this, and he did not do it. That error proved to be mortal for the Empire and himself. Anakin had to follow his own path, like a Bendu or Force Priest or Force Wielder, but he did not have the autonomy to decide. His dependency for approval made him destroy his happiness and self value. He became dead in life until Luke freed him, job that Anakin himself had to do decades before.

No he couldn't. Palpatine is much stronger in the force compared to Vader. Vader has higher potential but can't achieve it and because of that Palpatine can't be force choked by Vader

Palpatine is strong in the force and Vader's suit is also super weak to force lightning as Palpatine designed as such if Vader attempts to betray him.
