I like the Wells Fargo autograph journey card. It's a 95 dollar annual fee but I don't have to use any special portals. 5X points on hotels, 4X points on airlines, 3X points on other travel and restaurants, 1X points on other purchases, $50 annual statement credit with minimum $50 airline purchase. I use the active cash card too for the 2 percent of anything. no restrictions. I really like not having to use a portal and being able to book from any website. Thought provoking content as usual Luke👍🏾 For my use-case, no other points ecosystem matches Amex's. I've found it to be the currency with the most optionality and dynamism, including points accumulation, offers, and bonuses - not to mention lounges, statuses, perks & benefits. The holes are in the "3x all travel" and in the int'l space (FTFs, acceptance, no 2x catch-all). To fill these my CSR (or Ink Pref), VX, and Savor cards come in clutch!

First off, I hope that you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving!!! I like the set up, I have the VX and Savor (OG Savor One) but am sticking with the CSP (CFU and CFF) as I generate a lot through the workaround on the “online grocery” category and where not applicable I use the Savor / Gold. I just finished year one in the Gold (for the Sub as I evaluate) but the only reason that is sticking around for one more year is the 15k retention bonus, next year it is Bon Voyage. I like the no hotel loyalty program concept and use it sporadically but I have definitely gotten a ton of use with the Aspire this year and will next year….i am like you and plan ahead, December 24, April 25, June 25 and Aug 25 already booked, respectively Baha Mar (Hyatt), Savannah / Charleston (Hyatt / Hilton), La Romana, DR (Hilton) and Myrtle Beach (Hilton) all booked on points and FNCs!!! Great video! I still maintain that the CSP with the venture x beats the CSR and also the CSR+Venture X for most setups. The caveat is that it lacks the travel protections and Sapphire lounges (except the very nice one in HKG, which the Venture X gets you into for free, oddly enough). It makes up for it in savings on annual fees and earnings on groceries that surpass the Savor. I'm flabbergasted that the CSR lacks that online grocery category and that Chase forbids holding multiple Sapphire cards to make up for that loophole.
