Only way Jiri can possibly win is via KO in rounds 1 and 2 while he's still fresh before he gets picked apart. Ain't no other way. Casuals say he should just grapple more, they need to be silent and humble themselves. Some say he wins later rounds, that's complete nonsense as his defense relies on athleticism, and when he gets tired he is obviously open to being KOd as shown in the Glover fight round 5. It has to be the first 2 rounds.

In the last fight Juri was better in the majority of the fight, just that ending (hook catch). Now he is on a roll and Pereira is rusted. He has a chance. Pereira had lucky land, Jiri was hitting him good to the head whole match (even higher number of punches). Please process what you see better.

This sounds crazy but based on what I’ve seen from all his kickboxing and mma fights, the best xhance against him other than taking him down and holding him there is to exchange punches, ideally with forward pressure. It’s also a great way to get ko’d but there’s no other alternative. Nobody is beating him from the outside. He is the absolute best when it comes from fighting on the outside. If he wanted to he could probably coast through every fight with calf kicks and body jabs but he’s got too much killer instinct to do that so he puts himself at risk going for the kill.

Hi, guys. I just want to say something. I really don't understand why almost every fighter doesn't keep their hands up against a guy like Alex Pereira. Izzy corrected him self,but Hill didn't keep his guard high and got KO. Jiri also. Alex is known for his devastating left hook. I don't understand them. I hope Jiri knows how to defend against his left hook,because it will be very stupid ,if he don't protect his head.

I think it is because as the fighter they don't use the traditional stands and uses their own kind of stand. They maybe think like i'd rather fight in a familiar stands then an old traditional stands i don't really use. Ofcourse i don't know for sure but i think that would be the reason why they keep their guard a bit low.

he doesn't have his hands up because it is a part of his offense and saves stamina over the fight, the weaker defense is a sacrifice and he relies on range, slipping, and rolling with the punches, even the low stance that invites leg kicks is in place to work in tandem with his offensive capabilities it got him a RIZIN title, a UFC title, and two UFC title challenges -- it might be that Pereira is his kryptonite but it evidently works for him to get him this far and he was still a threat to Alex in the first fight, mainly in the second round before he got caught, Alex is a favourite but Procházka is still a dangerous opponent
