What a stunning venue to hold a a dance competition in. Well done organisers this is what all dance venues should all be like but sadly cant be. Everything was ultra class (typically British) and all couples were great but Petar and Zia clearly a cut above. Petar in particular was a standout and had no real challengers. One small personal criticism of Petar and Zia though. They do tend to hit many lines with the head tilted down at the floor especially in more recent times. I like that but when done so much it becomes too much and looses its's visual appeal somewhat for me. Taking a good thing too far imo.

How exactly did you point it out. When I was there, I also thought it was cool, but too often. And the place - all the dancers were just delighted, because this building has always held children's Blackpool and Blackpool up to 21 years old. So they're all back to their teenage years!

Beautiful elite dancers. I feel the negative space created between the couples, dancing in challenge or shadow positions, is becoming too great. This is a trend and eventually I hope it will move more closer to partnered connected variations, which reflects the beauty of partnered ballroom dances. In my opinion, there needs to be a better balance between dancing together and the seperation.

Couples and dancing are fabulous! They do deserve far more better music! Unfortunately, music is totally disappointing..., it carries no energy at all in it. Singing in Rumba is a complete disaster like in that saying 'just because I can't sing doesn't mean I won't sing'.
