Kobe thinking he can make Wilt set good screens cause he's the coach would learn quickly why Wilt was one of the most uncoachable players in his prime

Then take wilt from 67 or 72 when he did those things. Simple
@jasonha44893 ай бұрын
@@RLSmith-jt8qj Wilt wasn't anywhere near the scorer he was 67 and onwards, so even if he's a better passer/playmaker/screener, it would be a straight up worse Wilt Chamberlain. I'm not gonna act like I'm a 60s guru though, so if we disagree we disagree, I just think Wilt in his prime was a terrible teammate
@RLSmith-jt8qj3 ай бұрын
@@jasonha4489 no. Think with your brain. With the line ups you can put around him you don't need him to score 40 and 50. You need him to be a playmaking hub and anchor the defense. That's what they did in 67 and it resulted in the best offense the nba had seen not to mention that they won the most games in NBA history, a record 68 wins. That would stand for 5 years until the 72 Lakers broke it. And guess who was the playmaking hub and anchor of that team was....Wilt Chamberlain. Wilt's teams won when he scored less and passed more.
@jasonha44893 ай бұрын
@@RLSmith-jt8qj If you're gonna use Wilt as a playmaking hub + defensive anchor, he shoulda picked Kareem or Shaq. They can protect the rim, but also provide a lot more offensive value at the same time

I don't care what Marz says. If you don't want to get outscored, you need some spacing to go against the elite offense. With that being said, Dev has a balanced offense and switchable defense. Stephen is a close second.
@MarzTalksSports3 ай бұрын
I have spacing. sorry i dont just have spot up shooters. but Dame spaces the floor as a shooter (deepest range of anyone drafted) Lonzo spaces the floor (elite spot up shooter good movement shooter and relocation,has to be respected as a passer so ball pressure is necessary) Dwade is a spacer (elite midrange scoring,Tremendous athlete and unstoppable with a head of steam so cant be left alone,excellent crashing for offensive rebounds so need to put a body on him,elite navigating PnR so cant just play drop) Lebron spaces the floor (40% from three,elite athlete,Great feel for cuts,excellent passer when given time to make decisions) Walton provides spacing (Elite in Handoff action so big needs to play high,Excellent high post hub finding cutters but forces doubles due to scoring threat) Malone provides spacing (elite offensive rebounder so you cant leave his body on drives otherwise you will die on O glass) High Iq guys figure things out and know how to manipulate spacing and defensive alignments. but next time ill draft luke kennard so your satisfied
