Some things I noticed: Kung Lao not being Champion means that he doesn't die first! Usually he does first! Guess Liu Kang wanted to make sure his bestie didn't kick the bucket early anymore. And Mileena...How ironic that in every previous timeline all she wanted was what Kitana had. To be heiress to Outworld and a family that respected her... And in this world she has that and it becomes so much for her that she gets away from it and ends up sick. Careful what you wish for, I suppose. But Liu Kang really gave them the family they wanted and STILL Shang Tsung existing messes it up. I'd be FUMING!

Guys, before the gameplay ended, a theory popped into my head. We've all known that Shang Tsung was the one who made Mileena in the Flesh Pits with the image of Kitana. What if in this new era, that part of history is repeating? Since Shang Tsung defied his destiny and snuck his way into Sindel's court, there's a VERY HIGH chance he's the Sorcerer Gen. Khan mentioned. He may also be the one who made the Tarkatan disease that's spreading amongst Outworld's people, and Princess Mileena's condition getting worse by the minute. What do you think about this theory?

@@PoisonArrow80 If you want my opinion on why Shang Tsung created Tarkat, here it is: (SPOILER ALERT ---- TURN AWAY!!!) Lie Mei said that Shang Tsung suddenly appeared one day and almost immediately got Empress Sindel's support. Before that, Shang Tsung created Tarkat, then spread it amongst the people of Outworld to test its effects. He learned his shapeshifting ability from Syzoth / Reptile, and used a disguise to spike a drink of Mileena -- the candidate to Outworld's throne. The version that Mileena has is propably an inferior version of what Baraka and his colony had. Most likely one that can be easily controlled so that Sindel has an excuse to keep Shang Tsung by her side. Afterall, Shang Tsung does make the ONLY working serum to suppress it.

It's a rese5 of the timeline but made in Liu Kang's image, it's sorta a reboot of MKI. Basically a new age, still canonically MK12 though.
