Tim Sutton it really is isn't it? Have you heard his TotheArk piece yet Tim? (You probably have since this comment is a few months old). How did you feel about it? I'm not sure which member of Totheark is being showcased, (or expressed may be a better word), through the theme; I feel like it's mainly paying tribute to the fierce hate of the original Totheark uploader rather than the twins.

The low, intense rumbling really captures the essence and effect that the Operator's presence has on Humans. For me I imagined it as a simulation for Operator sickness, almost like I can feel the cold, harsh stare of the Operator, and whatever radiation he omits penetrating me. Truly a fantastic piece, keep up the hard work!

The low booming in the beginning is very reminiscent of the ambient track from Slender: The Eight Pages when you find the first page which is a really nice touch.

This music fits Slenderman so well, considering that he is so mysterious and enigmatic. Slenderman is one of my favorite Creepypasta characters, alongside Masky and Hoodie.

Why isn't a Marble Hornets game out there? Ik that slender has the "MH Mode" but is nothing compared to the experience to maybe play with Jay, or Tim, or Alex in the tape footage, and maybe we get a ToTheArk mode where we play with hoodie?

I'm also a musician and I just have to ask: How are you able to create all these amazing sound effects? What programs do you use? This is fantastic and I can't wait to learn how to compose stuff just as good as this.
@ScorpiusMusic8 жыл бұрын
+Underworld Guardian The majority of the sounds is an electric violin playing at extreme, quick tones in odd ways like past the bridge. I then processed the recording in a program called "PaulStretch" and slowed it down 800 times while maintaining pitch. The result you get is a hellish chorus of high frequency "screams". I mixed everything in FinalCut Pro 7 (yes, it's for video editing but because I'm an editor, it was the most comfortable program to use) Hope this helped! Can't wait to hear your music!
@ErinGrey8 жыл бұрын
+ScorpiusMusic oh man, this just made me more confused but it sounds so cool :o so the original recording is you playing the electric violin and then you process it through multiple programs?
@ScorpiusMusic8 жыл бұрын
+Underworld Guardian Yep! I process the sounds as individual files through "PaulStretch" and edit/mix everything on Final Cut 7. You actually may have inspired me to make a brief making-of...

Hello, The Operator here, I just came here to ask if people could please stop calling me Slender Man, Slender Man and I find it rather annoying that we are mixed up a lot, but alas I guess it can not be helped we do look rather similar, but please try to tell the difference. On a side note the people you guys call "Masky" and "Hoodie" are from marble hornets, not creepypasta. I am sorry for the long rant but I just felt the need to say this.
