Matt had to ride the rev and the rest of the guys to keep working on the song..nobody knew what this was gonna be, it was a bunch of bits n pieces Jimmy would come up with n kept adding n adding to it at Matt's insistence lol. Then it just kept evolving n evolving, "let's add strings, let's add oingo boingo, let's add a priest, let's add female vocals (dine by rev live) lol.. it just kept building n building til it became this masterpeice..theres a short behind the scenes making of this on KZbin that ppl should watch if they haven't ever seen it! u can tell in the beginning how pumped Matt was about this shit, m rev and Zack just like "WTF even is this!?! Do we have to??? Let's just like not finish this because it's too confusing". Matt would just keep bringing up "bear paw or bear claw" ( the song was originally titled "bear something" I forget what came after bear lol) come guys let's work on bear paw, bear paw, and literally convinced coaxed Jimmy into finishing this fucking thing, and once the other guys heard the song coming more n more cohesive were all on board.. they kinda ended continually adding shit which is why the song has so many peaks n valleys, from danny Elfman, strings, storytelling, a little ballad section lol..

Just as a heads up, no other Sevenfold song sounds like this. This was a one-off, super unique and themed song written by the drummer before he passed away. It's essentially their Bohemian Rhapsody.

This is the prime time of A7X live, Matt Shadows (lead vocal) did have throath sugery since, and you can hear that, not that he aint still good live, he actually made some other ways to cope with this that works fine, but still i would call this prime time of A7X live.. The latest album, life is but a dream, got fans and folks divided, its a risky album i would say, a bit weird, but after i listened to it some times i love it, its very diffrent from this, but its a new experince that i think is great!!
