Most people agree that vitamin c should come right after cleansing (and toning if you use one) - so that it has the best chance to get into the deeper layers of the skin and do what it is supposed to do!

I wouldn’t go head over heals into resveratrol for the face until more research is done. This is a very high concentration. Do a search on resveratrol and “replicative stress” there are studies coming out know that reaveratrol acts as a pro-oxidant and stresses cells. Is this good? Resveratrol shortens the life of saccromyces cereveciae more research needed

Not just resveratrol all antioxidants may act as pro-oxidannt, but studies that I seen was on supplements. not on topical usage

I love the chemistry lessons! Super interesting! I just added TO Resveratrol to my routine about 3 weeks ago. I apply TO Hyaluronic Acid first, then 20% vitamin C serum, followed by the Resveratrol, then moisturizer in the morning. Should I apply HA at a different time or even skip altogether? I use TO Argireline, followed by Matrixyl, then .5 retinol serum at night, and top off with a retinol infused moisturizer. I alternate retinol every other night with rosehip oil - I do not add the moisturizer when using rosehip oil. What do you think about this routine? I am closing in on 63 this summer. Yikes!

If you are getting good results - then keep doing what you are doing! It sounds like you have great routines going. Peptides, retinols, vitamin c & antioxidants are my top priorities for anti-aging. (+ hydration of course). I actually prefer the amino acids serum over the HA - but that is strictly personal preference. I have done videos on both that you can check out too 💫💛

Great routine!! Keep the HA in your rotation but be sure your face is wet before applying! The hylauronic acid will lock in that moisture from the water and really help your skin to become (and stay) more hydrated. I personally apply my HA serum from Good Molecules right after the shower when my face is still damp/wet. I let my face dry naturally after that and then I go in with the rest of my routine. (I double cleanse in the shower). Hope this helps!!

There isn’t a contradiction with retinoids, however, if you received your tret from your Dr or Derm - then of course always best to check with them. I use it alongside my retinols with no problem (but tret is far to intense for my sensitive skin! 😉). Hope this helps 💫💛

I use Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide along with moisturizer cream every morning and night, now i want to add to add Peptides and argireline and matrilyx to my skin care but i dont know how to use them, should i apply them all together or something like that, could you explain that to me?

That is great! I am happy to hear your feedback. Peptide serums can layer in nicely with your moisturizer & Niacinamide. I would add the HA right after cleansing (you want your skin to be damp), then it doesn’t matter which comes first between Niacinamide or matrixyl, then argireline applied to your targeted areas of fine lines and wrinkles and then your moisturizer as the last step (well - sunsceeen should be your last step in the morning 😉). Hello! It is a good routine. I always use the principle that whatever product I want the "most" out of - I put it right after cleansing, and follow the consistency guideline as well (work from thinnest to thickest), and put retinol and moisturizer (and sunscreen in the AM) as your last steps. So this looks good!

It is suitable for oily skin, just note the texture of this is oily, I have combination skin & I am just sure to let it sink in to my skin before I carry on with the rest of my routine. I have been loving Stratia’s C+C serum, it is a 10% l-Ascorbic acid and a 5% vit c derivative, works really well for my skin. If your skin is really sensitive a great derivative of vitamin c from The Ordinary is their Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate Solution in vitamin F. Hope this helps!

That is precisely how I curate my weekly skincare routine. I have the "essentials" I put together when I am exfoliating, simply focusing on hydration (and giving my skin a rest from actives), my retinol routine etc. etc. Then - I really pay attention to my skin, and use what I need in that moment, so if I am noticing a lot of congestion - out comes the BHAs/salicylic acid. It has been my approach for a while, and I think it really works! Before I was really rigid with my routine i.e. did the exact same thing every single day. It just didn't give me the benefits from all of the different ingredients/products out there.

I personally layer this with a vitamin c that does not already have ferulic acid in the formulation, so I can't speak from experience using one that does. No conflict with this and retinoids!

This is a strong formulation, so I would recommend mixing it in with your moisturizer, or other products in your routine to dilute its strength (especially when you start out). Use only a couple of drops for your face. I have quite sensitive skin, so I am sure to use a small amount, and haven't had issue with it, but of course everyone's skin is different. Hope this helps!

I suggest doing a patch test on your neck first. Apply a small amount on your neck and wait 24 hours before going in with this on your face to ensure you don't have any sensitivities to it! I have sensitive skin from my Tretinoin yet I haven't had any additional irritations from this antioxidant. Hope this helps!

The conflict is between the Buffet with copper peptides and Resveratrol, so these two should be in separate routines (one in the AM and one in the PM is fine); but you could if you wanted put the Buffet serum with Resveratrol in the same routine. Hope this helps!
