@riecheltabot6813
@riecheltabot6813 2 жыл бұрын
@@parisinthe30sx did you try the 0.3% retinol from paula's choice yet? 1% might be harsh for your skin. Ooh to notice if a product works, apply 2hrs before you go to bed(for absorption of product to your skin). You will notice if a product is working after 2-6months. No magic, it takes time before you see results

Paula's choice BHA changed my skin. If you massage it into your skin as opposed to putting it on cotton and just swiping it on, it really makes a huge difference and one bottle lasts me over 8 months.

I'm 37 and struggle with adult acne, tried sooo many moisturizers and found the Neutrogena clear and defend with salicylic acid cleared my skin. But it's expensive to buy every 2 weeks and you don't get much in a tube. So I'm going to try the ordinary salicylic acid in squalene. My skin is breaking out a bit from retinol and I like to use salicylic acid on my nights off from it. Thanks for this helpful vid guys, love from Australia!

@@BrendaYM2013 idk about salycilic acid, but there's different precautions you have to take with products when you're pregnant (that normally everyone else won't have to worry about) and I'm pretty sure retinoids are one of those. @@BrendaYM2013 Some products can cross to the developing fetus causing harm. Hair coloring is another one to avoid unless some brands have eliminated the guilty ingredient. Best to always ask your doctors to be safe and have a beautiful healthy baby.

Azelaic acid is pregnancy safe if you have acne. Try colloidal oat masks there’s one from face n earth and Mary Ruth probiotic spray for face. And Bakuchiol serum is safe to use as this mimics the effects of a retinol. Really safe. Also stay away from preservatives like phenoxythenol, and sodium benzoate that includes citric acid as the two combined creates a known carcinogen called benzene.

I have combination skin & I've been loving the anhydrous solution. Currently I use it at night under a lightweight oilfree moisturiser, but I'll probably use it with a heavier moisturiser in winter. @@itsmeskyeeeee it definitely helps with blackheads, my pores are enlarged in general & I had to accept that there's no quick fix for it. It's slowly getting better (thanks to ingredients like salicylic acid, niacinamide & azelaic acid) but it just takes time! If your sensitive you're probably gonna love this! There's no irritation at at all. I usually use it at night & finish of with a light moisturiser.

I use the anhydrous solution as a prewash scalp treatment. Helps with dandruff and oily hair & scalp. I just part my hair, drop a couple drops down the part, rub it in, then move over a half inch and repeat. I do this 30 min-1 hour before my shower to let it penatrate my scalp. It has been really helping me. It takes down the oiliness without drying out my skin. I do it 1-2x per week.

Ordinary just launched their anhydrous salicylic acid in Hong Kong. I want trusted recommendation before buying leave on salicylic acid, what I do? I always go to doctorly. Thank you both of you. You make adding new items to skincare routine piece of cake.

WOW! You guys got to 1Mill super fast! I'm positive it's because you guys are incredibly informative which makes you valuable. You were the ones who convinced me to slug this winter. Also thanks for explaining about the Ordinary long wait for SA, 400,000! Damn. I was one until I got tired and went and got the BHA Exfoliant from Natrium. Even though I haven't finished the Natrium I'm considering going for the Ordinary's version. Just love the brand!

Salycylic acid products make me break out badly and painfully welllll past the purge phase. Bummer for me. :( Im starting to think the same may be true with retinol too. Wonder how uncommon this is bc it's NEVER discussed.
