Interesting... I like this backstory, it clears up how the Chaos Emeralds came to be, as well as how Sonic became blue. How quickly could he run before the friction reducing shoes? Also, why is Dr. Robotnik evil? Did he put all of the evil into the 7 Chaos Emeralds?

Well out of curiosity I decided to draw brown Sonic in the pose Sonic does in the 0:57 mark of the video. I think I did an ok job of drawing brown Sonic in that pose. I just had to round out the left end of his body because in the video, that part is shown with Sonics quills I also kept his power sneakers because they're too iconic to remove from him.

In short, when Kintobor fell into the Rocc (his machine containing 6 Chaos emeralds) the Choas Emeralds evil energy combined with the rotten egg turned the kind Kintobor into the Robotnik we all know now.
