You never answered my question about Kira if Simba destined was to bring was to be king and bet scar and Koins was to be head of the lion gourd then what about Kari. In the second movie before this, she brought together the Outlanders and Pridelanders together and with that, she found love with no other than scars air kovoo so was that her density

One of my favorite parts of TLG was the world-building. TLK was a great film, but it was somewhat constrained by a lack of really expanded lore and history. The Lion Guard does a lot not just to further develop a Lion King franchise, but to build a Lion King universe.

If Mufasa did have a second born, the Wildebeest stampede wouldnt have killed him. But demoting Scar to 3rd in line for the throne would spark his anger more. This is probably another reason why Mufasa is regarded as one of the Pridelands best kings, he's filling in for both King and Lion Gaurd duties. He stops Hyenas that infiltrate his domain (or just investigates the situation to see if doing so is necisary), and saves Simba whenever he's in peril.

The reason they aren’t in the lion king 1 or 2 is because the creators didn’t think of kion or any of them. The lion guard wasn’t even created back then. And honestly I don’t think the lion guard is cannon. There’s no way kion existed in the lion king 2 there’s no mention of him ever existing.

Well if you look at the perspective of the lion guard did exist in Tlk 2, in the beginning of the tlk kion was either in Nala's womb or a cub in the den. And that the lion guard is the time gap between the first section of the movie to the second half of the movie and when its kiaras first hunt, the guard was absent during ziras war. Which was probably planned by the great kings so simba can learn to forgive and forget. The lion guard is canon people have to put 2 and 2 together to make it make sense.

In the 20th episode of the first season of The Lion Guard, "Lions of the Outlands", it's shown that Kovu and Kira have already met, Kion was still a cub in this episode and that's why Kion is not in "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride", Nala could still be pregnant with him or he was still non-existence by that time. In the third season of TLG, from episode 2 to 17 , Kion and the his lion guard set off on a journey to the Tree of Life and got his scar healed, the same with Ono's eyes. They got back in the Outlands at the end of episode 18 and when they finally got home at episode 19, the events in TLK2 already happened. So basically the storyline goes like: - The Lion King - The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride(Only the parts where Kovu and Kiara were cubs) - The Lion Guard season 1 to season 3(Only to episode 1) - The rest of TLK2 and TLG season 3, episodes 2 to 17 were happening simultaneously - TLG season 3 episodes 18 and 19 [Oh, and of course, y'all know where The Lion King 1½ occurs in the storyline]

So, my thinking is that Scar wanted to take power but was unsure how to do it. He wanted to take power because he was afraid that unless he could physically assert his presence he would become lost and forgotten. This fear is what would ultimately become the catalyst for his dark path. Over time his fear would dominate and control him. Eventually his mental instability would catch the attention of someone powerful. Unfortunately this being has been dead for centuries so she would not be able to speak with him directly. Since most of these early days are pure speculation on my part I'm not going to talk about it that much and if I ever need to mention this presence again I will just refer to her as The Old Master. So my thinking was that after Scar became aware of this Old Master she would begin to advise and instruct him on how to accomplish his ambitions. Throughout all of this she was helping him build his anger and rage to a point that he could begin to take advantage of this Dark energy Force. My guess from what I know about his backstory is that he was dabbling in it from a very young age. At this point in my research something struck me as familiar so I did some more research and I found that this is all very similar to DARTH SIDIOUS. If this does end up true then I would also assume that after the incident at the water hole and after he officially gained the moniker of Scar is also the moment he decided to fully gave himself over to the Dark Side. At this point he just continued letting his anger and hate grow. Soon he became the leader of the Lion Guard, which further added to his power and he kept letting his rage consume him to the point that he lashed out at the other members of the Guard and as a result he was stripped of his power which caused him to become "shriveled and weak" hmmmmmmmmm Kind of like.....(play obligatory clip here).....but unknown to the masses Scar was still strong willed and his pure connection to the Dark Side at this point was so strong he could not just give up. So he resorted to laying low, hiding in the shadows and slowly manipulating others around him into unwittingly doing his bidding. In time through this casual manipulation he would be able to take power. Sound familiar? That is exactly how Darth Sidious rose to power as well. Also I would say that just like Sidious not many would ever be truly aware of his true power and nature. To provide at least one example of this I would call out one character who would go on to become the main villain of the second movie. I have found out that Scar did in fact have an apprentice. This only seems like a natural thing to do. Once Scar truly asserted his rule it only seems natural that he would begin to seek out an apprentice to carry on his beliefs, well congratulations, he found one. And some interesting things about her. Zira was even more mentally unstable than Scar was. Her mental state at the time that Scar found her was basically Anakin Skywalker just prior to becoming Darth Vader. Scar would take advantage of this just like Sidious took advantage of Anakin, and like Scar's Old Master did to him. With his new position of dominance and an apprentice to follow him Scar was in a good position to comfortably rule his new regime. Unfortunately for him though Simba did return and ultimately defeated him. Ultimately Scar couldn't let go of his hate. In the process he did cause plenty of suffering as well and in the end he was so far gone that there was no light left in him. In the end it destroyed him. This wouldn't be the end of his ideals though as he did leave behind a now unbalanced apprentice who would just follow the same downward spiral as her master even going so far as to train her own apprentice. And I almost forgot to mention that some of his followers literally manage to summon up his spirit from beyond! If that isn't Dark Side magic, I don't know what is! Scar also manages to use this opportunity to instigate a full scale war! Just like Darth Sidious instigated the Clone Wars. Although this time he seemed to forget all about his apprentice and her forces. Still though he managed to build a full army just like Sidious and his apprentice Darth Tyrannus secretly led the creation of the Clone Army. Also I should mention that Scar's main adversary in this new war, the new Lion Guard is basically comparable to the Jedi Order. Anyway there is a lot more information here than I could ever hope to find on my own and I'm pretty sure I have still just barely scratched the surface with this information. But I need help to find the rest of it. And yes, I realize that I could just be splitting hairs here, but this all sounds too good to just give up on. I need help though. If you're interested in this idea just let me know please. Thanks for listening. Also remember: Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, Hate leads to suffering. I'd say we have all of that in both my examples.

Scar was the youngest and second born. In Ruler ship traditions its always the first born to be king and second born second in line and possible leader of the lion guard. And when i say possible is because i like to think the guard only happens if the great kings sense great evils forming around the pridelands.

I disagree that The Lion Guard has found a way to fit into The Lion King canon. Kion knew nothing about Kiara's encounter with Kovu until he encountered Zira himself, despite it being clear in the movie that the whole pride was made aware of what happened. Not to mention that The Lion Guard suggests it was KION who banished The Outsiders to where we saw them in the movie... except his first encounter with Zira was AFTER those events, during which The Outsiders were already in that place, yet when they ended up there after Kion used the roar to send them there, they acted like they'd never seen that place before. The Lion Guard started off contradicting from Simba's Pride, then attempted to try restructuring itself to fit back into the canon... resulting in just a jumbled mess that doesn't really work if you think about it for more than a few seconds

About kiaras first encounter with kovu. Kion wasn't born yet at the time he wasn't conceived yet or was in nala's womb and after that event kion was born. And about Zira being banished by kion. Technically, simba did banish the ziras pride into the outlands, since thats where she is when she took over jasiri's watering hole and about the termite mound, they probably left it for a bit to take over jasiri's watering hole to try to lure kion away and kill him, and you know long distance falls make people kinda dizzy and woosie to why nuka said "where are we?" Cuz they hit their heads as they landed. And ziras "our new home" was sarcastic , so it was Simba who banished them, it was kion who banished them to their originalal orgin during the first events of tlk 2.

I guess, to me Lion Guard won't really feel like a part of the TLK lore until we know more abut Scar's lion guard and why Kion was not even mentioned in Simba's Pride. My biggest question about Scar's guard is were they actually part of Mufasa's pride or were they lions from neighboring prides? Maybe Disney could make a prequel to explain this one.

And that the second half the lion guard went off for some sort of mission helping another land, because i also like to think the great lions wanted simba to forgive and see new light rather than to live in the past and relive his demons.

I love the LK but when it comes to continuity I don't know. I am thinking the ending of the first movie. Clearly the newborn looks male and in golden books they say it is a son. First off I will say I love this show I think its cute and I need to get caught up because of all that I have missed. However same time, people who keep saying Kiara was born before Kion doesn't make any sense because they are the same age and are both still cubs. If she was born before him she wouldn't be a cub by the time he came along. It doesn't take animals years to become full grown adult animals like it does us humans. Lions it doesn't take that long to become a full grown lion. But it's only a cartoon so I guess we can all let it go. LOL

There's something I don't get how is it that the Creator I love this channel can add movie clips to his videos without them being taken down for copyright issues? Wotso Videos, I would like to talk about Scar’s war in The Lion Guard too. Especially the fan theories regarding Janja. I’m convinced he is capable of reforming. The Lion Guard Wiki even states that in the song “The Worst Hyena We Know” it strongly implies he secretly likes Jasiri but won’t admit it in front of Scar, his clan members or the others in the army. I also believe he’s afraid of Scar.
