One way I especially want to compliment you is your level of professionalism. You don’t drop curse words for the sake of cursing (unlike some other KZbin personalities who shall remain nameless). As I mentioned before Whether Capcom Games Intended it or not,in the Street Fighter games the Story of Akuma/Gouki and Gouken's paths is being Told Through Ryu's own Journey...based on the path he chooses of the Warrior ,In the main canon of SF,Ryu has Mastered the power of Nothingness(Mu no ken)after years of finally Purging himself of the satsui No hado,Following in the path of his Master Gouken, learning of a peaceful way to Teach Ansatsuken,While evil ryu's storyline is basically a what if timeline where Ryu Gives into the Satsui No hado Abandoning his Humanity becoming Like Akuma in the Process and the new Master of Fist. Ryu is a Reflection of both Masters in their Prime

I used to own one of the graphics novel of street fighter. It tell the origin of many characters. Also Dan origin in that book is that master Goken teach him after Ken and Ryu oeft. So when Dan meet them, (Ryu and Ken) in the state, he only recognised them after exchanging blows trying to save someone. That's when he remembers his master said about having students before him.

I really enjoyed reading Street fighter origins: Akuma. The best in the udon series! You forgot the part where Gotetsu put the 2 brothers up to a test (a test of assassination). Gouken passed but Akuma failed it. It was his failure that led to him embracing the Dark Hadou

A very nice over view of Street Fighter's orgins. 05:30 In the Assassin's Fist movie Goutetsu says, strike with the dark hadou then use the power of nothingness to purify yourself of the darkness. That's why he was not overtaken by the dark hadou. He balanced the darkness with the light. After seeing what the dark hadou could do Gouken did not want to risk teaching it.

Shame that Capcom has forgotten about Little Miss Gouken's Daughter. According what I've heard about her that she witness the fight between her father and uncle but disappeared after that. She could've came back in SF4 as the one who kept and looked after Gouken while he was in his coma.

He isnt. They almost made him his father around alpha time, as the manga artist Masahiko Nakahira wanted to do that, but then at the last minute they asked him to not mention that as they want him to be his father. I will make a video about this soon.

Well the SF lore is actually quite good, but the problem is that it is scattered all around the place, bits and pieces here and there in different, mainly, Japanese books. Once the entire puzzle is put together, it is actually great!
